Pros: Big room with walk in closet and fridge, separate parking place. 
Cons: Aircondition out of order, room safe out of order, bathroom dirty and run down, horrible mattress, dark breakfast room which can give you a claustrophobic experience.
Summary: Although the place is quite cheap, it is not worth the money.

This pearl does not shine

I choose Perla Hotel, because I travelled on my motorbike this time, so I wanted a hotel with fenced yard. I spent few days there, during really hot summer time (in the middle of August). Air Condition worked perfect, what was a blessing. Fairly big room with a big bed, desk, chairs, fridge, bathroom not too big but nothing to complain. I use gym every time I can, so this point is not satisfactory in Perla Hotel. The breakfast is also not to diverse and not too many articles to choose. Generally quality and equipment sufficient when you consider the price.
But for more demanding travellers, there are other interesting places in Targu Mures to spend a  night or more.

Another business trip

Even if it is not a 5 start hotel, it is pretty great for organizing family events. Our first time at the hotel was on our wedding and the food and the attitude of the staff were impeccable. They are constantly renovating, the big ball rooms are now very pretty compared to a few years ago, perfect for weddings and bigger events. The rooms are pretty, comfortable with air-conditioning and of course bathroom. 
The parking lot is huge and it has a big and pretty yard. The staff is also helpful and kind.
We were there several times for different events and I believe we will go back.

Nice hotel and kind people

Wide parking place, helpful staff and a very nice restaurant . Good quality for the price they are asking , still I could not rate as four stars . Rooms are ok but not very spacious , but there was pretty silence everywhere so I could have a good sleep. Must admit there were not too many guest at that time . The mornig expresso was excellent , which definitelly is a plus , unfortunatelly smokers have to go to the hotel bar in the basement.

good value

The hotel is fine - really clean and the staff are very helpful.  Rooms are spacious and there was no problem with me taking my cat with me.  The first time I stayed (in March 2013) the restaurant stayed open just for us - the waiter was excellent and the food was really good.  When I stayed again this month again we were the only people in the restaurant - in fact I think we were the only couple in the hotel! - the waiter was no longer there and the food was terrible which was enough for me to decide to try somewhere else in future.which is a real pity.
