Small family run hotel and restaurant. Husband and wife team run an excellent hotel with Elena, the wife  as chef. Elena must be one of the best chefs in Baile Herculane, if not in the whole of Romania. The Beef Goulash was exceptional and the house wine was the best I have tasted in the country.

Best restaurant in Haile Herculane

Very good, delicious and tasty food. Clean and comfy rooms with your own bathroom and balcony. Nice view to surrounding hills.
Owner is very kind and polite. The owner speaks Romanian, German, Russian language. Very nice nature. Many things to see in this area.

Food rocks!

Delicious food served on the terrace - felt great! Rooms are warm, but have balconies and we slept with window/door open, so cool air came in overnight. Rooms could use deep cleaning. Breakfast ( included) was good. Nice staff. Good value for the price. Thank You.

Good value

Good food -comparing to.other restaurants in Herculane. Decent accomodation. Cleanliness level -medium.
The only thing that bothered me was the attitude of the owners, very inflexible,not very polite (when I asked if I can serve dinner, the answer was "ohhh, you have to wait a lot!!!"). Because there were no more rooms available I could sleep in some friends' room, on the floor,but I had to pay the same.price which was a bit weird to me...

Decent accomodation, good food

Basic room, no air condtioning, repaired sheets, could have been cleaner.
The bar / restaurant was staffed by one chef, a waitress/kitchen helped and a man who I presumed was the manager sitting on a chair drinking beer and very occasionally collecting plates. The chef and waitress worked hard to serve our group of 15 but there was inevitably quite a wait for the food and to get drinks. That said, when it came, it was good.
