The beginning of a good stay begins with all the contact with the owners before arrival itself. James was impeccable both in the days before arrival and on the day of the reception together with his wife. When people have an innate sympathy, everything gets better. The space itself is very well thought out, whether for larger groups or for couples. Rest and landscape are the word of order. No doubt it will be a place to return to be able to enjoy in full what the space offers.

No doubt a place to go

We rented the whole house for ourselves and were surprised to share the common areas, plus we left 1 pot and a couple of fountains to clean because the dishwasher was working and we were told that we hadn't cleaned, the price is the cleaning.

Liars are liars.

We rented this whole house for a group of adults with children and it turns out that when we arrived we found that the house is divided into two apartments that are rented individually, with some areas shared with strangers.

The house and the views are lovely but the host told us that in terms of cleaning we were not up to the other guests!!!We left the pool area clean and the house picked up. Likewise they claimed that paying 2000 euros and that included cleaning, we cleaned the bathrooms, the windows, we cleaned the floor... We rented the whole house and when we arrived we had to share the pool area!!! He also mentioned that we took more people to either, that is true but we called to warn and the woman with whom I spoke told me that as there were only two people, that there was no problem and that it would be a problem to stay asleep, because there were only two people.

A bad hostess.

The place and the house are beautiful, but look, they tell you that it's an entire accommodation and once there you discover that it's not true. It's several buildings and you should share common areas such as a pool and lobby. It's not the same as an eight-person pool as a 30-person pool.

Beautiful house, but shared.

House with 5 bedrooms, spacious living room and kitchen. All very well equipped and with a very pleasant decoration. Very pleasant outdoor area and fantastic view. Easy access trails between the gardens and walkways. Small fault in the lack of heating of the pool which does not make the place unworthy in anything.

Perfect for families

It's a fantastic house, very spacious, clean and tidy and all the decoration is good taste and very well equipped. It's 4km from Régua. It has a beautiful view and a wonderful swimming pool. We went as a family, 8 people, where we had a lot of fun. Sonia and Tiago are very friendly and kind. I recommend and we'll come back.

Fantastic // Family

The place is beautiful and the accommodation is spacious, clean and very comfortable. Sonia and James are very kind and caring. They gave tips and made us feel at home. The breakfast bread was sensational. Every detail is designed to make the guest feel special. We love it.

We stayed in this beautiful home with another family for 2 nights while we explored the Douro valley area.  The home is spotlessly clean, well furnished and has a fabulous view and pool area.  The owner lives next door and so is available if you need anything. She left ham, cheese, jam and butter for us in the fridge and you have fresh bread delivered daily at no extra cost.  This is a property I could have stayed at week at very easily.  There is a small suite next to the house and guests can use the pool area (not the covered deck, patio or other areas) and I think for those guests it must feel weird to walk through the deck of the other guests and then try and join them in the pool.  However, there is more than enough room to go around.  I highly recommend staying here.  Confirm the payment arrangements before you arrive, I was surprised that they wanted cash and had to travel back into town (10 min on winding roads) to pick up money.  

A slice of heaven in the Douro Valley

We spent two nights in this beautiful place in the heart of the Douro valley the owner is very pleasant, the decoration is neat, the view is dazzling.
