Quinta Das Aves

(Not that I was on my honeymoon.) The rooms and studios each have a door off the central courtyard - this comes halfway between a hotel and a holiday rental. I visited in March and had the place to myself. The proprietors keep a very low profile. I strongly recommend the studios - patio then kitchenette (with fridge) then bedroom then bathroom - and the kitchenette will be helpful as breakfast (or other food) is not supplied - this is accommodation only. Trying to book this, "Book using booking.com" offered only the double rooms - while "Book using TripAdvisor" offered the studios too. The system offered studios with a minimum stay of a week which seemed fair to me. There's a good supermarket 3 km away and a restaurant at the other end of Torre village within walking distance so you could go out for the evening and leave the car behind. If your ideal honeymoon is to be waited on hand and foot then look elsewhere. If you want to be left well alone then this could be perfect. Incredibly economical.
