Between 1st September and 20th October, 2025, the hotel will be carrying out a major intervention in the spa and indoor pool. The hotel will be changing the flooring, installing a new jacuzzi, sauna and Turkish bath, as well as the painting works in the spa's treatment rooms and reception area. During this period, the hotel will provide the massages and treatments in rooms in Block B and Block C. For facilities such as the indoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi and Turkish bath, the hotel will offer its sister hotel, the Melia Madeira Mare that is 1.5 km away, and the Hotel Pestana Grand that is 0.5 km away, as alternatives. The reception and lobby redesign involves painting the walls and ceiling, new furniture and decoration. Minimum disturbance is expected for 2 or 3 days.
In November/December, 2025, the hotel will refurbish the flats in Block B.
In January/February, 2026, the hotel will refurbish the rooms and flats in Block C. The work at the C Block´s restaurante has been extended and the reopening is only scheduled for the 18.03.2025.
In March/April, 2026, the hotel will be refurbishing the flats and rooms in block A. Since the refurbishing project will be done by block, there will be no impact on guests staying at the hotel. |
