If you look for a place to stay and has a reasonable rate, this is a place to go.
The stuff is friendly and accommodating. Restaurant nearby, souvenirs and most specially the Island hopping trip, right across the street is the ocean where the boat is waiting. Groceries, money exchange, huge  selections of food is just a steps away from the hotel.


Good experience

The place was good but it’s very noisy. It’s located in center town which is in the main street. The good thing is it is walking distance for everything restaurants, booking offices , cafe and etc. That’s a plus point 

It’s good but noisy 

We paid the room at the counter one day before checking-in but the next day when we got to the room we had no towels, no toilet paper and no pillows on the bad!!! So we had to come down to the reception 3 times to ask for all these items, which is the same as saying, to do their job for them...
The breakfast is really poor and we had to go once again to the front desk to ask for the breakfast voucher that they forgot to give us during the check-in process. There’s only one toaster but it’s not working...
It’s very disappointing to have all these flaws after what they charge for a room...
Don’t recommend, not going back for sure.

Bad value for money

Rovic'x Pension House (Inn) is right on the beach.  You can hear the waves from our room which was very soothing.  The Hotel is across the street and more modern.  Don't expect much from the rooms in the Pension house, it's mostly for the location.  The rooms are basic with bed(s), A/C, television and a bathroom - no closet.  But we stayed on the beach or walked around town most of our stay. 

Great Location and Friendly Staff

Disappointed, rooms are so small. I booked using AGODA and when I reached the hotel I found out that the breakfast is not included, surrounding is not si Good and also the staff.

I left some mask in the lobby and the staff don't care about it, they just don't care about it.

Yeah I cant recommend this " hotel " - its abit naff.

The only good thing is the smell of the sheets other than that, the rooms are dated, only one plug socket in the room, no lamp.

Power cuts so the air con doesn't work, strange stagnant smell in the bathroom. 

Probably would rather sleep on the beach :)!

It’s a comfortable, clean hotel in a great location. Bed is comfortable and shower is warm with great water pressure. However, when the power goes out (happens once or twice a day in El Nido) the AC isn’t on generator and there’s no fan. Also - they double charged me and when they went to refund one of the charges, they refused to refund the 6% credit card fee even though it was their fault for double charging me. Staff is disorganized and rude

Decent room in the center of town

We stayed in Rovics hotel for three nights and we left with a mixed feeling about the stay. On the positive side was the size of the room (room 308) big and spacious with two beds. The location couldn’t be any better, just right on the Main Street where everything is happening. The staff too was kind and we could leave our bags on the day of check out. 
When that is said, there were some things that we didn’t like. The bathroom had water all over and a bad smell. Even though we used some towels to clean up, the water was so bad it was still everywhere. The corners in the bathroom were really disgusting filled with dirt.. And the shower head was broken so most water didn’t come out here. 
All over the room there were old smashed bugs and ants on the wall, maybe this could be a part of cleaning the room. The breakfast is served from 6AM to 9AM so we only had it one morning at it was nothing special at all. Dry eggs and bread.. They don’t mention at check in, but the room will only be checked upon request before 5PM. 
So all in all the place got us a good start in El Nido, but we wouldn’t return. 


Mixed feelings

Short staffed, similar cheap breakfast if there is any (sometimes there is none).  Dirty bathroom, dirty rooms, dirty cafeteria, usually no electric, crappy shower 🚿 and sink water, the room smells bad, the owner doesn’t care, the employees have been complaining, just interested to his income but no plans for changes. With their price, it isn’t worth it.  They need improvement.  It’s horrible to sleep without air conditioning and bathing with cold water.  You might get lucky to have electric running.  You can only use WiFi in the lobby.  No WiFi in the rooms.  They are quick to charge money but the service is bad.
