Toile was broken. No water most of the day. Toile tank leaking. Breakfast was poor quality and Cold.

If they fix up the place it won't be so bad

I loved that is was close by to everything, you could walk if you wanted too, but it does get dark at night so we  just rode a tricycle. Some complaints would be that our shower wasn't functioning properly as it would shut off within one minute of turning it on. And the bathroom would clog, therefore stinking up the room if you didn't close the door. Also our hotel door didn't close like the other doors,  making it easy for anyone to go in. Nothing was stolen while we were gone, so I'm happy.   The rest of the hotel was clean and it was maintained throughout the day. Although simple, I loved the free coffee. The staff were polite, but one person didn't know how to extend our day, so I just booked it online. I would recommend staying here.

Massive coaches everywhere, so we left immediately, refund declined cause manager wasn't on-site. No response to emails. Terrible behaviour.

The hotel is situated nearby the terminal station and the beach. 
The good thing about this hotel is there is a free unlimited coffee. 
The staff are sometimes not in the front desk. However when I needed them they are available. They are kind enough to lend me their cellphone so I can call the pick up van. The room is very dirty and full of insects. It has crawling insects in the bed and too much ants. Our room has balcony which is I guess the highlight of our room. This room is with fan room and I think it is fine. The room is too tight that we cant open all our luggage and we have to put it in the balcony. 
The surrounding neighbors are fine although we can hear too much noise accross our balcony.
The pictures showed in booking.com was not reliable. 
The amount we paid is very cheap so I guess we  get what we pay for.  


Unrecommended place to stay

We only stayed here one night before heading to Coron, but the staff was super helpful and the room was large for SE Asia. We also had a nice balcony with a view over the village!

Employees friendly. I provided a list of 10 significant problems second day addresses to manager. Never heard back. Couldn't shower for 2 days {no pressure..no hot} . No internet. No TV. No breakfast. No air con controller. No chairs. The place is a maintenance disgace. They have no right to charge as though all is ok. Still waiting to hear some sort of explanations and yet people keep booking in unwittingly.! 😔

By far the worse place we have stayed on our travels. The room & bathroom were damp, which we reported and they did nothing about. Twice in a row we turned up for breakfast during the given times and were told they couldn't serve us. WiFi was poor. Noone took notice of our issues that arose. Was a shame! 

Wouldnt recommend

Just out of the town but easily walkable we weren't sure what to expect by the hotel after reading mixed reviews. We selected the hotel as it offered breakfast at a budget price however the old saying of you get what you pay for was apparent here. Having booked a few weeks in advance we arrived to be told they weren't aware of our booking... Luckily or unlucky should I say there was a vacant room for us, the room was very hot and humid and the 'fan' was virtually pointless, the shower was cold and bathroom smelt of damp, the bed was closer to a single than a double and the wi-fi was non existent. Overall I was pretty disappointed by the hotel which actually has some potential and could be okay if the owners put some care and attention into it but until then I would avoid. 

You get what you pay for

After being skeptical about booking due to the reviews, we stayed for 2 nights, maybe that was a mistake! We booked over a month in advance and on arrival the staff member on duty was unable to find our booking. 

We were put in a room with a fan and air con, but as we hadn’t paid for it the air con wouldn’t work. Obviously if you haven’t paid for it they turn it off - fine but the fan barely worked either so we were living in a sweat box. The room was damp, there had clearly been a leak through the ceiling as the floor was all wet and dusty. In the morning, the noise coming through the windows is unbearable, the chicken/ rooster next door is going on all night and after travelling Asia for 4 months this is the worst night sleep I have had! 

The location is a bit out of the way so you would expect it to be quiet however there is a karaoke bar nearby and they can be heard until the early hours of the morning! 

If you want WiFi then this isn’t the place for you. They do have WiFi but only next to the reception and I couldn’t send an iMessage from it it was to weak.

Breakfast is included but we weren’t asked what we wanted, just given omelette and toast. It was edible but I wouldn’t choose to have it again. 

Wouldn’t stay again

Silverise Pension is located in the middle of El Nido. It is halfway between Corong-Corong and the main town itself. They offer different types of rooms depending on the traveler's needs but with the corresponding price. When I stayed there last January 2017, I was able to get a fan room with a balcony. The balcony faces the Cadlao Island. Silverise also had a tiny room but I think that is their cheapest room. Their double rooms and family rooms are quite large and worth the price. Because of the location and affordability,  whenever I am in El Nido, I always stay in Silverise Pension, with a prior booking.
