Maximos Hotel

I came across Maximos on the advice of the tourist office, and found that it to be clean and welcoming. The tariff also appealed, given that we had a tight budget. We were impressed by the internet facilities (2 free desktops and free wi-fi on every floor) as well as the good bathrooms and the minibar. Our rooms did not have the most luxurious of decor, but in comparison with Peruvian standards, it was impressive. The location is central, but not in a stunning location - still less than 5 mins from the Plaza de Armas. One niggle would have been the breakfast - which was cheap, but very basic, effectively jam, bread and bitter Nescafe. Maybe best looking at one of the many other eateries in the town which have greater choice. In general - I can't honestly complain about this place, we enjoyed our stay.
