299 reviewsThis hotel stands out in my mind of the many I stayed in while traveling for a few weeks in Peru. Puno itself is an unimpressive city and this was a little escape while staying there. The service was excellent, friendly and welcoming. It felt like going home. I spent most of my time in the lobby area with a book and a glass of wine, enjoying the SPECTACULAR views of Lake Titicaca. Hands-down, the views are unbeatable. The room was very comfortable, the decor charming, I had a huge window with a lovely view and there are heaters since it can be chilly at that altitude. The food was outstanding and I was so pleased that they had chardonnay...I didn't come by that much throughout my travels in Peru. My only regret is that I didn't have more time to relax and enjoy this great property!
