From start to finish my stay at the Huaytusive Inn was perfect! 
Not only is the staff so friendly, the room is very spacious and super clean (I had a double bedroom), the water is HOT which is so important in Puno as it gets cold at night, the breakfast is very fresh (fresh fruits, fresh juice, fresh coca leaves and muna for infusions, fresh bread!!) and the location is perfect!!! (short walk to the park and to the Plaza de Armas and a nice 15min walk down to the docks!).

The staff will help you book your tours, arrange for you to get picked up by a taxi, help you book your buses if you travelling outside of Puno and even put your breakfast in a bag to carry if you do not have time to eat on site.

I stayed for 5 days as I was attending a congress in Puno, it was very easy for me to get to the local buses as it is only two blocks down from the street. Moreover, I arrived very early in the morning and as my room was not ready yet they put me in another room so I could rest (I had been travelling for almost one day). 

I cannot recommend it enough, for the price you pay you will rarely get this kind of service (I live in Peru half of the year and have traveled quite a bit and this is the very best!).

Best experience in Peru!

Very good location in the central area of Puno Friendly reception. Very good value for money. Clean, large, comfortable room with my own bathroom (booked a single in a triple room). Towel provided. Good breakfast included

It was a bit cold inside and no heating and no hair dryer. The water pressure in shower was low but water was hot

Good location, Great value in Puno

Stayed here for one night in a single room which was clean and spacious. Unfortunately, the mattress was so solid it wasn’t a very comfortable sleep. The shower next to my room was only giving out hot water so I couldn’t use it as it was boiling but the bathroom was clean. Breakfast was really nice with a good selection.

Nice, central place

I arrived in Puno and felt really sick. I had a bad case of altitude sickness. Thankfully, check in was fast and the hotel was very quiet. I was able to sleep and felt much better after my nap. I had a room right next to the bathroom so it felt like my own bathroom. There's hot water and an extra blanket in the room for those cold nights. During breakfast, they make fresh pineapple juice which was amazing! I don't know when breakfast was supposed to start, but everything was available at 6:30! They also put my luggage in storage for the day while I visited lake Titicaca. I returned at 5pm and had to wait until 9pm for my bus. They allowed me to wait in the reception. My only complaint is that WiFi didn't work on the 2nd floor. I had to come to the reception for it to work.

Quiet little hotel

Great location in the heart of the city. A lot of good restaurants in the neighborhood. Hot water and tea leaves/bags are available around the clock. The room are clean and spacious. The water in the shower was rather tepid than hot (calientes). Great breakfast with fruits and curd. Please not that credit cards were not accepted. We were asked to pay cash either in USD or Soles.

Good choice for Puno travellers

Sorry, but having no heating at the breakfast room (while they have a heater which they didn't use, even after asking), and having no heating in the room makes a stay uncomfortable. Furthermore the shower (both at 2st and 3rd floor) produced not enough water to shower properly. I suggest staying away
