One night stay in September. Easy parking, clean rooms, quiet location in the shoulder season. We enjoyed our stay.

Good Invernes option

This hotel is not only gorgeous but comfortable and welcoming. Staff are very friendly and the decor is gorgeous. We had room H321 which overlooks the ocean and the famous “Under” restaurant. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was a great selection and delicious, it was also constantly full stocked.

I can’t believe this is only a 3* hotel

Staff were exceptionally nice and accommodating.  Room and view were amazing.

This place is great for people who likes fishing, boat and sea. Reasonable price, peaceful nice surrounding and good quality accommodation plus friendly staff. I am so happy that they have good strong warm shower, due to high electricity bills many hotels have limited that. Not here! I am very happy that I chose here for my Easter vacation.

Wonderful place in southern Norway!

As with most guests at this hotel, we came here for an overnight stay as part of our dinner plans at the extraordinary UNDER restaurant. Our stay was for one night 08/31/2022 to 09/01/2022. What we didn't expect was to be within walking distance to the restaurant & to have a miraculous view from our room.

The staff were very accommodating with our requests, especially with knowledge of what to expect for our dining adventure. Upon arrival we were greeted with friendly smiles & and easily got an upgraded room facing UNDER from our bedroom. The view along made our initial long drive to this small coastal city worth the effort.

We were also gifted two tickets to see the famous lighthouse, which sits at the very southern most tip of Norway. The hotel restaurant is a hidden gem and the lunch we had felt local, fresh and with so much flavor. We look forward to coming back with other friends who are curious about the entire experience. A Charming Hotel In A Picturesque Coastal Location

Had an apartment. It was fully equipped, modern, fresh and with balcony overlooking the bay. 
I giess I wasn’t expecting the level of quality or service so this was a great surprise. You could park your car next door, no breakfast included (some 190NOK/pp) bit the apartment had kitchen facilities and it was a grocery store (Kiwi) within walking distance. 
The hotel has a restaurant but due to private arragement (wedding), it was closed. But there’s a thai place and a fish food restaurant on the wharf area. 
The hotel is also within walking distance to the renowed restaurant ‘Under’.
Will definitely come back if my travels take me to the Lindesnes region.

A wonderful surprise on the Southern point of Norway

The location is great for coastal scenery and sea access. There's not a great deal to do in the area but if you're looking for a quiet break with some nice walks and enjoying the sea air this is ideal, and even moreso if staying at Under. The hotel offers the use of bikes and other activity equipment (free of charge) which is a nice plus, I recommend cycling to the lighthouse and back but be prepared for the hills!! 

My best compliment has to go to the staff, and in particular Merethe at the reception desk. I arrived here with a gift card to the hotel and Under, I was on the waiting list for Under and doubtful I would get in. Merethe asked me of my plans upon check-in and when I explained this, she said she would contact Under and call me if they had any cancellations during my stay. I was VERY surprised to get a call 2 hours later from Merethe offering me a table. I made it a bit more complex with dietary requirements and she called back and forth with Under and to me until it was sorted. Awesome stuff. 

In addition the kitchen staff were also super nice and helpful when I asked for gluten-free alternatives at breakfast. 

Room is spacious, very clean, and very modern. I would imagine it's unlikely you'll get a sea view just booking one of the standard rooms, so in my case my view was mostly across towards other hotel rooms. Means you have to close your curtains for privacy but if you're not planning on spending much time in the room anyway it doesn't really matter!
