Nevra Aparthotell

Nevra Apartmenthotel is ideally located next to some great cross country skiing routes and also has a downhill slope at the side of the hotel. The views from the huge lounge, and the rooms facing towards the nearby hamlet of Nordester and towards Lillehammer, are stunning but best of all were the hosts Hans and Claire who made our stay memorable. The self contained apartments have various layouts. Ours was quirky with a bathroom with older style fittings between the lounge/kitchen and our bedroom, but was clean, in good decorative order, well equipped and comfortable. We were able to cook full meals and ate with travelling companions who had a more spacious adjoining apartment. We had a couple of afternoon teas in the comfortable lounge taking in the views and Claire even baked us cakes! We also made use of the games room and the sauna. Next door to the hotel is good hire shop combined with a cafe, bakery and small convenience shop. Nevra is closing shortly to be converted into private apartments. Anyone who becomes an owner or future renter will enjoy a fantastic location for great holidays in beautiful countryside. Alas, sadly, the great hosts will no longer be there!
