What a great experience! The tranquil location, the staff, the tents, the food - all lovely. A group of us stayed for over a week and we were sad to say goodbye. 
It is a bit remote - which is part of what’s great when you’re there - but arranging a pick up from the airport with them is recommended! Getting back to the airport took a bit more arranging, so if you need transportation, ask staff as soon as you know you need it! Given its remote location, the place would do well to have more transportation options to help its guests for excursions or getting to/from the place.
The staff were so lovely and helped us to arrange some activities - some of my friends had yoga lessons both on the beach and at the instructor’s studio (a few min drive from T&S). They pointed us to a couple of other restaurants in the area (where the food was equally great). We had a day excursion to Leon as well, but had to arrange our own transport back (what an experience)! I myself did not surf, but my friends who did loved it.
The food never disappointed, nor did the happy hours while watching the sunset over the water. 
I was wary before arriving of how safe our possessions in our tents, but there is a lock box in each room. Any worries left when we arrived.
Beware the patchy WiFi. We had to stand in specific locations to get a signal, and sadly that didn’t extend to our tents! Perhaps that was a blessing.
Highly recommended. This was such a unique experience. Thanks so much to the staff for their attentiveness (and great music playlists).

A recommended experience!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Tapas & Surf! The resort and glamping tents are kept very clean and lots of attention being paid to lovely details. The staff is simply amazing! The team is "running the extra mile" every single day to make their guests feel comfortable. For example, they cooked food that was not on the menue when we asked for it, helped us with organizational topics and let us stay in our tent longer than actual check-out time. Food and drinks are delicious! Just one head's up: Be prepared for European prices for food & accomodation. Quality and service do have their price and there are no restaurants and shops nearby. If you're not on low-budget and looking for a few days away from the crowd to relax, surf and enjoy the good side of life, visit this place!

Great stay and the most wonderful staff you can possibly imagine

Tapas & Surf is a fantastic place to stay. The tents are nice, the amenities are perfect and the staff is very helpful and gracious. The one downside to Tapas &a Surf is the food. It is inconsistent and many of the items taste like fish. I'm guessing that the cook reuses the same oil, which makes most things taste fishy. The pancakes and fruit breakfast is by far the best thing I had during my stay. It's delicious. The rest of the food is so-so. Thankfully, there are several other restaurants nearby. 

I must say that the manager, Rafael, plays a big role in making this place so great to stay at. He is super friendly, helpful and speaks English. I think his favorite phrase is, Whatever you want!" He made us feel so welcome!

Great place to stay!

The accommodations are great!  The rooms are cozy with comfortable beds.  My only complaint is the food.  They were out of the first few things I ordered.  We also had to wait for the kitchen to open at 7am for a cup of coffee, maybe a coffee machine in the room would be good for early risers.

Family visit

I’m glad I didn’t book the Hotel, I went there with my family (13 people) for lunch, prices are not that cheap, which I wouldn’t mind if the service was right, but I was very disappointed with it, I ordered a Paella for 8 people ($12 per person)the owner told me it will take a little longer because it was freshly made but she never told me it was going to take 3 hours, then the waitress was awfully slow, bringing the drinks 4 at the time taking forever to bring the other 4. When food was finally ready they brought 5 dishes and no silverware, we asked for another round of drinks, they brought some of them but missing couple of them, we informed the waitress but he never came back with them, although at the end they were included in the bill. Waiting for the bill was another 30 mins, we had to ask for it twice, when I went to pay I told the that the service was very slow, but she only said they were very busy on that day ( 5 tables occupied) she never apologized or thanked me for the feedback, definitely they need better customer service!
