I stayed at this hotel for a few days in March.  The room was not very clean and the service was not the best.  The food was amazing, but that's about it.  I have a refund pending that I never received.  I keep contacting them and they keep giving me the run around.  Do not stay here.  It's better to stay at an honest hotel that refunds customers their money.

Mediocre stay

This was a great place to stay in Managua. Very quaint with lots of character. Helpful, pleasant staff. Clean very nice, comfortable rooms. Very nice pool. We would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Great place to stay!

Nice property. I appeared to be the only person staying there at the time as saw no others. Is behind a security gate so you have to be' buzzed 'in I felt a bit guilty coming in late a couple of times as had to wake up the receptionist to let me in. No one speaks English but not a major problem. Seems to be minimal number of staff maybe because it was not peak season. I seemed to have had the place to myself so had a dip in the pool a couple of mornings and had it to myself. It describes itself as having a bar and restaurant but saw no evidence of that it is on a much smaller scale than that. Room was pleasant-light didn't work in the bathroom but if I spoke Spanish am sure that could have been sorted easily enough. Area has bars and restaurants very close by and an Intercontinental but not too much else this isn't the fault of the hotel there isn't much to see in Managua in general as far as I could see. Staff helpful they ordered taxi to airport for me despite language difference.

Quiet pleasant stay

Décor is authentic folkloric, spacious area, unpretentious and perfect for couples on a budget. The personnel was great and always available to help. Room had AC,was clean, spacious and I had any own secure parking spot.  Breakfast available as soon as you got up. Located in a safe zone near the party scene. Will definitely stay here again. 

Package deal 

I love this small hostel, it has arrived on different occasions, Since I set foot on land in Nica., everything is very good, with transportation, because there is always an Esperandome taxi, recommended by the hotel and the taxi driver a very friendly person.

Good care, as at home...

We spent 2 days What I liked: welcoming staff but speaking only Spanish. Our room was large 2 double beds with glass table inside and another made of iron outside in front of the pool. On the first night we had dinner on site typical country dish chicken with vegetables a real delight. Very well located for the restaurants and downtown nuevo What I least liked: for lunch on the first day we were not offered eggs, so we ate fruit and toast it lacked protein. The next day we asked for eggs with gallo pinto with no problem. The taxi did not find the hotel and it was 3 rent from the hotel. There was nothing outside that it was a hotel. The guest of the hotel did not want the water from the bed.

Stayed here for two nights while on a business visit. 
A nice little hostel with a homey atmosphere and a blend of lots (!) of Nicaraguan and Asian decoration. My room was large, functional, and well air conditioned. Room and bathroom were clean and well maintained. 
Wireless internet was sufficiently strong in most places. 
Staff were very friendly and made a real effort to make our stay a pleasant one. Friendly greetings and uncomplicated service were a daily joy. Guests should be prepared to converse in Spanish. 
Located in a quiet neighborhood, but conveniently located with a good number of attractive restaurants, other hostels and hotels, and business locations within a (safe) walking distance. 
Quite good for a three star place at a relatively good rate. Overall, I enjoyed the rather authentic hostel atmosphere, and recommend it especially to first time visitors. 
Before returning, however, I would want to try some of the close-by family-operated hotels with excellent Tripadvisor ratings first.  

Pleasant, authentic atmosphere

The good-interesting decor and art. Definitely not boring. Pretty flowers. Hot water, which is rare in nicaragua. pretty pool. Nice lady that checked us in. Right around the corner from a great restaurant, don parillon. Just ok-breakfast was very basic, but good. Fresh fruit, fresh juice and eggs, good coffee, but service a little weird. Kind of uneven, they sometimes take a long time to get something, a little grumpy maybe, and one morning, no butter, lol. The not so good- bathroom had cobwebs and some kind of small animal droppings in the tub. Like it had just not been used in a while. Needed a little freshening up. Bring your own shampoo. A little pricey for what you get, but if you can get a good price, go for it!

Convenient location, nice ambiance

Small hotel about 12 rooms but full of charm, the reception is warm the rooms a little small but very clean and well maintained. The restaurant is of good quality very attentive staff, backyard garden with swimming pool and small bar, the decoration is cosy and intimate.

A charming little hotel

Recommended by friends, I went to look for this hotel and to begin with I couldn't find it even on the internet because they gave me a much longer number, a marillo parrot, in fine confusion, or on the map and even when you're at the door, you're still hesitant because there's no sign outside. But well, once inside, it's very nice of decoration, a cool atmosphere with plenty of plants, well done. It has a swimming pool and the staff is friendly. The room was small, but it had everything needed, air conditioning and a ventilator, a desk. The light in the bathroom doesn't work, that was the only thing. They have plenty of restaurants very close so that you don't have to always go to the same place, the location is very good, close to the Hippo area, which they call the new lounge center.
