Campo Royale Resort

Hi Was in Bluefields Nicaraugua at Casa Royale hotel (great) Owner arranged drive for me to Managua Road only opened in Oct before had to.take boat down river from Rama. Now owner said son runs hotel in Managua and price was same as place I was looking at, so decided to support his sons place. But have been in Nicaragua over 2 months. Most at a Spanish School La Mariposa. Well as we were driving I started to recognize where I was as getting close to end. Well imagine, owner said Managua but actually 14 km.away but has shuttle service. The hotel is probably within 500 meters of where used to help out with hydro therapy on Weds So a bit pissed but could understand. So next morning as to see the manager Julius, had planned 3 nights. Julius very understanding. Finds me another hotel in Managua, made sure in a safer area. Arranged his driver to take me there. Plus I had asked about going north to tobacco growing area as relatives had tobacco farm which I spent all my summers on till joining military. I an 66 and not in great health so chicken bus not for me. He got me a driver to take and bring me back. Was thinking of doing land crossing into Honduras but stated alone and with my limited Spanish would not recommend it Price not bad I think. So he spent a lot of time making phone calls etc, was losing business but was so gratious ,courteous and understanding. He was teaching fitness classes in between. A great representative of what attitude I have been finding across Nicaraguia.
