15 reviewsThis holiday is our once in a lifetime trip to New Zealand and we certainly struck gold when we booked for 2 nights at Richmond Lodge. From the moment we arrived Jen and Cary made us feel at home and nothing was too much trouble for them. The accommodation was immaculate and had everything we needed. A really comfortable bedroom with beautiful bathroom facilities, a comfortable sitting room with access to books ,a dining area and hot drinks making facilities not to mention home made cakes! Then another pleasant patio area to sit and enjoy the sun outside. Outside there was a beautiful garden and swimming pool. Who d want to go out and leave this beautiful home with everything! Our hosts were amazingly helpful when planning our trips around the area and where to eat. Cary even offered to collect us from town after we’d visited a restaurant. Jenny’s breakfast was a feast! Home made muesli and fresh bread with fresh fruits and yoghurt followed by cooked eggs and bacon, then more toast and jam if you could manage it! Thank you so much Jen and Cary for making this a wonderful start to our holiday. We will remember you fondly.
