Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights as part of a battlefield tour to Remagen. The hotel is situated in the corner of a small market place which seems to have been taken over as a car park,no noise issues though and we had front facing room. As we arrived en masses check in was actually completed on the bus,again simple and no issues.  The configuration of the hotel is a tad confusing but once you work it out its fine,can seem like a maze. Rooms though small served a purpose,no toiletries or hot drink facilities in room. Breakfast was traditional continental ,good choice. We had dinner 2 nights and must say we were pleasantly surprised at the excellent quality and presentation for a 3 star hotel. Just over the road and up a side street is the main area which has several restaurants and bars . 
Come out of hotel,keep canal next to your right ,walk 200 yards to see a very interesting piece of local art.

Better than expected but.....

Stayed here with Leger over new year. You enter via the Hotel Walram. Some of the guests were in the main hotel but we were in the annex. Bit of a walk through the corridors but our room was fine. Modern and spacious and cleverly designed for the 3 of us. Plenty of storage space and great wifi. We used all of the facilities at the Hotel Walram. Good food and drink. Coffees were a must. The drinks were quite expensive but we still drank and celebrated. Excellent dinner at new year and the fireworks outside were spectacular. Very central hotel and would definitely stay here again in the future. It would not bother us if we ended up at this hotel rather than the Hotel Walram!!

As they say does this hotel exist we were booked in this hotel with leger travel we ended up in the walram not bad room bit small 625, but have walking difficulties & we had bath with shower but that was pointless because it was halfway down the wall & no shower curtain so if I could have cocked my leg over bath still couldn't get shower it wasn't high enough useless idea. We went to use the swimming pool one evening about 5 clk and was told we couldn't use it as there were school children coming to use it we are paying guests so we should have priority and it's not supposed to close till 8clk so it was very disappointing. The food his very nice & well presented especially the sweets. But we didn't have a choice of starter soup or soup but there was a salad bar so we made doo with that overall its not bad hotel & I would return at some time in the future ,

Came here for a 7 day tour with leger holidays i was down to stay in the bogaerde hotel but we were put in the waldron hotel which is the main hotel next door I was charged a extra fee for my twin room 184.00 because my mum had cancelled and another lady got the same room as me but she only paid a small extra charge for the same room as me which I thought was unfair the room was basic but clean the hotel is in a good position in the town of valkenburg the food was nice but I thought we should have had a choice of dessert and starter nice and modern downstairs the drinks were expensive though.

Stayed in early December with leger, lovely hotel, helpful pleasant staff, our room was big enough for us afterall it was just a place to sleep our days were packed with tours, food was excellent 3 course evening meal and a great assortment at breakfast, the hotel was really clean and comfortable, would I go again, yes definitely
