We stayed here for 2 nights and it was two nights of luxury. Everything about the hotel/plane is to the highest standard and the breakfast is HUGE ! We were met by John who showed us around and he was friendly and knowledgeable and very helpful. If you get the chance you have to stay here especially if you love planes! You will not regret it!

Luxury beyond words

A very extraordinary experience! An aircraft from the former GDR, whose interior was designed by a Dutch architect - simply grandiose, very stylishly decorated. As a birthday present for my flying-loving husband, we stayed there with our children. We were thrilled and had a great time in this unique and very hospitable location.

An exceptional airplane hotel - a unique experience

This location is so exceptional that the normal point scale is not enough. The machine is an Ilyushin IL-18, which has already flown as DDR-1 and was later taken over in the normal line service by Interflug. In 1986 it was dismantled. Since 2009 it has been used as a hotel, after renovation. The suite now really does not reveal any desire at all; whirlpool, sauna, the intact flight deck, a fully equipped kitchen, a small terrace, everything from the finest.

Unforgettable

We had spontaneously booked an overnight in the plane to give us something special for our birthday. We were not disappointed. Everything was very clean, very original and an absolute highlight, which can create great memories. The restaurant across the street looks rather simple from the outside, but it crowned our evening with stuff and a first-class atmosphere. Should you have visited  as a delicacy anyway. Likewise, the prices there are nice, which are at a normal level.

A highlight of a particular kind

We have stayed here 2 years ago and was an amazing experience! Everything is well taken care of. Very luxurious, feeling absolutely like royals! The entire plane to ourselves. Wish it would fly us all over the world :) It definitely made us both experience something out of this world.

Welcome was amazing, very friendly, explained everything to us. The food we ordered and was brought to us was also great! Everything is very modern and equipped with everything you can think of. We did not miss anything. Jacuzzi, sauna amazing bed. 

Parking right there. Everything smooth! Absolutely worth every penny! Once (or more times) in a lifetime experience! :) 

Ultimate Luxury

The idea is super nice and the corner is great. Right in the middle of an air park. Very clean, breakfast delivered on the plane is great and the hostess is very nice. We spoke very little English but we could get along.

I arranged my wedding proposal here and it made for an unforgettable experience! The service and excellent and they helped me set it all up nicely.

It's a very special location with nice facilities and good quality. The breakfast was everything you could ask for! 

Unforgettable experience

This was the coolest surprise birthday I have ever had! When we first arrived we were met and shown around by a very nice gentleman, giving us a thorough description of the entire plane with all its areas and state of the art lighting and fixtures. I never would have guessed it would be 138 feet from the back of the plane where you sleep, pass the bathroom, the amazing shower and sauna, full sized tub, dining and kitchen, very comfortable sitting and tv area and of course the cockpit where you can sit for hours and look around at everything. However I really enjoyed sitting there on the patio, looking out over the runway, watching the skydivers and nice planes come and go.  The people had set us up with transportation to a very nice place to get dinner in town as well, and in the morning, brought an incredible spread for breakfast. I cant wait to go back and enjoy this incredibly unique hotel! And if you are up for it, check out the skydiving right there as well....

Surprised by my wife for a birthday!

A very special event, we landed with a Cessna in a bag and checked into the airplane hotel. The reception was very warm, everything is beautiful and lovingly decorated, and a homemade cake was already waiting for us. The breakfast in the morning - delivered directly - the hammer. The plane is top-flight, with a large shower, a whirlpool and a comfortable bed. The cockpit is still in its original condition. On a small terrace - with a view of the runway, of course - you can enjoy the evening with wine and cheese - of course from the Netherlands. There is a walking distance to the restaurant Hangar and the city of Deventer is worth a visit.
