Very good breakfast and very friendly service is impressive.There is a bus to the Schiphol airport and the Kechenhof flower plantation in front of the hotel and you can see the wonderful sea of ​​the North Sea in about 5 minutes walk.

I recently stayed at Pension de Driesprong. The establishment is clean, and their prices are not bad. However, the spiral stairs one has to climb to get to the rooms and the breakfast area are treacherous. Although they say they have limited car parking, it is about 2 blocks away. The worst part about this B&B is the proprietors. They are extremely rude and condescending. They also lack compassion. Because of a family emergency, we had to leave 1 day early. They would not refund the money for the night not stayed. They did not even have the decency to express any sympathy about the family emergency. Fortunately, the other Dutch people we encountered were helpful and pleasant and made better ambassadors for their country.

The arrival was not pleasant, we were far too long ceased a little cramped hallway where we were given a sermon about the bizarre procedure abouth the keys, we immediately had to make all kinds of decisions about breakfast etc. The room was clean but only had a skylight, the noise was not pleassant by rain in the night. The bathroom was dark , cramped and incredibly small and could not be aired, so going to the toillet was almost not an option. I travel a lot and this is the first time I write a bad recmmendation because I realy felt not welcome here. The owners are pedantic and the women was often unfriendly. We booked two rooms for three nights and left a night earlier. While the site of Bookings.com informs that you can cancel for free we had to pay the third night. Because the owner called her husband and he tried to give a new preache, we just payed the thirth night and where happy to leave this bad energy.
