It was perfect. For good price in the city centre. Everyone was really nice! I recommended! We received on the last day two huge basket of breakfast because we could not attend the breakfast because our flight! ☺😊😘

Perfect

Excellent place in Eindhoven. Close to old town and train station big clean rooms excellent service, very good price and fantastic breakfest. Place much better then avarage in Einghoven, only problem in room 2 very tight space for toilet

EXCELLENT

The room was medium-sized with a double bed made by putting two singles side by side, so 180cm wide.  The duvets were good quality and very warm; the mattresses were firm and veryc comfortable.  There is a radiator for more heat if wanted (as well as an extra blanket).  There is hanging space and a stand for putting your case on, but no drawers for clothing.  Tea and coffee can be made in the room.  The bathroom is small but has all you need; the shower has plenty of hot water and the plumbing is excellent.  A hair-dryer is also provided.

The one window is large but looks out onto the wall of the building next door, so that you need to have the light on while in the room.  This isn't a problem if you, like us, need this as a base from which to go out.

There are two keys - one for the front door by the street, the other for the room.  The stairs up from the front door are quite steep so might be hard for wheel-chair users.

We had breakfast provided. This included cereals, fruit, very fresh bread (with butter, jams, etc.), juice, a plate of meats and cheeses to choose from, tea/coffee/hot chocolate as well as cooked eggs.  All-in-all, a  very good provision.

The Auberge is easy to find and opens onto Wilhelminaplein which is a pleasant open space.  Bus 14 stops nearby but most things are within walking distance.  The station/bus station are about 1km away.

Sophie's Bistro is owned by the same people as the Auberge and we had a excellent and reasonably priced meal here.

A very enjoyable stay for two days with all we needed.  We will come again when in Eindhoven.  Strongly recommended.

Good value, excellent room

This is a B&B at the far corner of Wilhelmina plein, a square where there are other hotels, pubs and restaurants. However, it was quiet and easy to sleep in my experimentally decorated room in the 1st floor. I  liked the mix of materials in the design, especially the varnished plywood on the floor, a big minus for fake plants collecting dust on the wall, although pallets looked interesting. Anyway, different from most standard rooms. I found it comfortable and slept well in a nice queen-size bed.  The window looked straight into a wall a few feet apart, my claustrophobia kicked in during daytime when there was no view and little daylight. However, I did not spend my daytime in the room, the breakfast was simple but nice with fresh bread and wonderful coffee in the cozy bistro Sophie which looks very tempting. I  did not have time to try it out for a meal in the evening, the smell was great so maybe next time

Affordable in a central and agreeable location

I stayed here for one night due to the price of the room. It's next door to a lovely looking bistro in a small quiet square a 10-15 minute walk from the train station. You check in at the bistro and the girl who checked me in was very helpful and showed me to my room and even offered to leave me a breakfast package as I was leaving early the next day. The room itself was ok. The shower had some hair from a previous guest and the wine glasses had lipstick/red wine rims which isn't great. They also took away the bedding on the other side of my bed, as was a double and I was there alone which left me with just one pillow?!? The man in the bar in the evening booked an airport taxi for me and was very helpful. The breakfast left for me was huge, had meat, rolls, cheese, pate, jam, butter, juice etc almost more than I could carry.
Although my stay was fine and the building is secure, being a solo female I do like the idea of a 24 hour reception in the building in case of an emergency but this b&b doesn't have that so left me a bit unable to sleep.  I probably wouldn't stay here again just for that reason but all in all it was fine for what I needed.
