Everything was perfect would certainly go again

- Leaky roof- unsafe staircase for small children- questionable cleaning regime (relies on previous tenants to do a good job of cleaning and we found this to not be the case).- restaurant was closed on tuesday’s and wednesday’s.- drivers speeding on site and speed humps may damage the underside of your car even when doing less than 10km/h.The location is lovely but management really need to resolve the cleanliness, safety and quality issues of their cabins.

Location good, but safety/quality issues.

We arrived late and had agreed for a key to be put in a safe outside the park. There wasn't one. Called the emergency number ans after half an hour a staff member arrived. He took us to the cabin, which turned out to be occupied by someone else. Without many options as it was midnight, he put us in a spare cabin without heating, loo rolls etc.Next morning at reception we complained and were moved to the correct cabin. Issues like this may happen, but it's the way in which the team dealt with it that was bad. Despite multiple requests for a refund for the first night we still haven't received this (only a token amount days later).In the new cabin we had problems with the heating AGAIN, which were resolved after 2.5 hours. Also the overall appearance of the cabin wasn't great (scuff marks everywhere, tears in the sofa, etc).In all, there seems to be no love or proper maintenance for the cabins, and a terrible reception attitude. Shame. Won't visit again.

Extremely disappointing stay

Europarcs is a lovely place that has a lot of potential. Unfortunately, they're not living up to their full potential. We arrived at our tiny house, which was dirty, there was dirt, dust, and hair underneath the table and in corners, as well as MOLD behind the toilet and downstairs beds. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom, no towels, plenty of dishes in the kitchen with no paper towels, no dishwashing liquid, and all the dishes were put away in the cabinet, dirty. We went to the office and the staff was amiable and accommodating. They explained that towels were an additional cost. I have never heard of this, nor was there an option to "pay extra" upon booking. They gave us towels for "free" a roll of toilet paper and a super tiny bottle of dishwashing liquid so we could wash all the half-washed dishes. I am a writer and I rely on Wi-Fi to complete my work. I was told that there was a problem with the Wi-Fi in my house, but I could use the service from a nearby house. The first night, the Wi-Fi didn't work from either of those houses, so I missed out on an assignment that went past the deadline. When the Wi-Fi did start working from the other house (it never worked in mine throughout the entire 10 days), it was very intermittent and unreliable. ALSO, IT WAS NEVER MADE CLEAR THAT YOU CAN LEAVE THE PARK ANYTIME, BUT IF YOU RETURN AFTER 11 PM, YOU ARE LOCKED OUT AND MUST PARK SOMEWHERE OUTSIDE THE GATE AND WALK QUITE A WAYS IN THE RAIN BACK TO YOUR ACCOMMODATIONS!

Yes, this place is unique in a few ways. Unique and different from a North American perspective perhaps. From the Expedia/Website images its uniqueness was what drew us to the property in the first place. From the homes design (interior and exterior) to the amenities and layout of the accommodation site. We definitely enjoyed our stay here despite the distance from central Amsterdam and sites. A little advice for upcoming travellers, (of course do a bit of homework) you require a vehicle if you are to stay here and see the sites of Amsterdam. We rented a vehicle and and parked close to a bus/transit facility to get to where we needed to go. Yes, get here (if possible) within the time laid out on their website. If I where to have a minor complaint, which I am sure you have already read past guest comments, it is a challenge when arriving late and/or in the dark. This if anything is where guest satisfaction/needs to be met or improved upon. Oh yeah, bring your own bath towels, shampoo and bath soap.

This is a huge park but each property has it's own outdoor area including a parking space and there are many grass and landscaped areas, canals and lakes to give a feeling of space.  The 2 bedroom house was well equipped and clean - there are two separate charges if you need to rent bed linen and towels (no t towel).  Unfortunately some of the equipment has never been connected to the electric supply eg the cooker hood and at least one bed side light had no reachable electric socket! The bathroom was dark and had a very very strong air freshner hanging on a towel hook - we put this outside the house as soon as we arrived.  The outdoor furniture was very comfortable for eating outside and there was a Parasol.  Most of the windows have anti mosquito nets so that you can enjoy the fresh air - we had no aircon.  There is an onsite laundry room with each wash load costing 5.50 Euros
The weekend staff are so friendly and helpful - they arranged for our missing clothes airer to be delivered and answered general questions that we had.  However the weekday staff - we an only assume the lady we spoke to on two or three occasions throughout our stay was part of the Management Team - made it quite clear that we were an interruption - we were placing orders for their bread delivery and had a query about staying an extra night - nothing too difficult and we appreciate that our lack of speaking Dutch can sometimes be a barrier.  Dutch people everywhere were always so friendly and helpful which made this lady's attitude difficult to accept - very poor Customer Service.
We did not stay the extra night as the Management Lady said it was not an issue for her to deal with and to call Booking.com (who we made our reservation with) - Booking.com said it must be booked directly with the site Reception.  The outcome was that EuroParcs wanted to charge us 308 Euros for this one additional night - we had already stayed 12 nights - even the Booking.com assistant was shocked at the price!

Easy access to Amsterdam

I Like the House. They have a Parking. The have a Supermarkt in the Near. The people are very friendly.

I would have liked to be inform that we have to bring our towels, shampoo etc. The give soap for dishwasher but there is non dishwasher??? an air conditionning would have been appreciated.Snack bar open too late (around 3pm) so no possibility to by what is missing all day.The site itself is very nice and houses quite good

Very nice, quite and lovely place to relax. The whole family had a great time. The only issue was the existence of mosquitoes and spiders.

Beautiful property, however the overall experience poor. There are no towels, toilet paper, dishwash liquid and cloths, dustin etc. We a family of 4 with 2 cars, only 1 car allowed to enter with other car to be parked outside the park. No entry or exit after 11pm at night - not ideal in case of emergencies. Blocked toilet, reported - no assistance. Overall not recommended accomodation as not a pleasant holiday experience.
