Me and my girlfriend spend a great night here! Abdul and his family were very polite and helpful and the view from the room and the roof are phenomenal! Plus one of the best breakfasts we had all trip. 5/5

Great place!

Home from home. Wonderful hospitality, great views, great food. I really enjoyed my time here. Abdul (and his family) was very welcoming, and had lots of info about the area. Was a bit cold to have breakfast on the terrace, but in a warmer part of the year it would be perfect.

Great place

My sister and I stayed for one night at this inn. It was a stone's throw away from the Todra Gorge (10 minute walk, or even less!). To get here we did drive so it is quite a distance from Tinerhir, but a lovely location nonetheless. 

We got a standard twin room which had a small window that over looked the river that runs from the gorge. Gorgeous views! And if you head to the rooftop where there are some tables, u have an even more amazing view! At night it gets quite cool here and as there's not much civilisation in that area, thank goodness the hotel has their own 'restaurant' where the owner's wife (I think) home cooks the food. We had a tasty chicken and vegetable tagine! For breakfast which was part of our package, we had a really nice Moroccan breakfast too.

The owner is a very nice gentleman who happened to be walking in the area outside the hotel when we just arrived and parked. He asked where we were staying and found out it's his own hotel and carried our bags the entire walk through and up to our rooms!

The room itself wasn't big, but was good enough for us, and had a small bathroom in the corner with a curtain as the door so it did get a little cold when we were taking a shower, but manageable. There was a queen size bed and another single bed in the corner so I think the room can technically fit 3 people? 

Nice place for a short stopover to see the wonders of the Todra gorge!

Wonderful view, warm hosts

The location here is excellent. Easy to find. Plenty of parking if you have your own car. Owner is very friendly, a little ‘over the top’ pushy if your the introverted type. Food was relatively expensive compared to other guest houses we stayed. Room was big enough for two adults and a child. Bathroom is in the room, separated by half wall and curtain; and very small, if that’s important to you. I’d give the room a 3/5 for cleanliness, I made the mistake of looking under the bed for my sunglasses. 
I would however stay here again, just with eyes more open...

Average accommodation 

This will be a mixed review. It is not a bad place but I'd rather go somewhere else for that rate (30€-330dh). We booked this accommodation as it was on our way between the desert and Marrakech, but if we were planning our trip again we'd rather visit the Todra Gorge and go somewhere else to sleep. There is not much going on in the area unless you are spending proper time hiking and rock climbing, which would be definitely worth it. Staff at Valentine's weren't as hospitable as in other accommodations we have been in Morocco, except for the ladies who were fantastic and doing the hard work. We got a strange email one month before inviting us to cancel as "it was very cold", and that made us suspicious to come to this accommodation not knowing what to expect upon our arrival....Who offers customers to cancel? We thought it was because we got a cheap rate few months before and now they could charge more for last minute bookings. Anyway, facilities are just ok and accomodated to the price, a little bit run down but enough to spend a night. Noisy from other rooms. No hot water at night, so we had cold showers at night in January. The guy kept telling us to go and see how carpets are made and maybe buy some.... We asked to have dinner at the place but they didn't want to make the effort. Breakfast just ok, not at the same level as in other accommodations for the same price. On the other hand they gave us a small heater for the room, which didn't heat up the room but at least kept the air mild and not freezing and we appreciated. But, to finish off with a positive note, the terrace upstairs and the views are bloody awesome.
