Dar achain is a good place to start trekking in the Toubkal massif. The rooms are confortamble and clean and the breakfast is hearty. Rachid is very kind, is a mountain guide and could help you if you want to do an excursion

A great place to stay if you are visiting the High Atlas for trekking, sight-seeing or just relaxation, peace and quiet. Comfortable rooms, good food and located right in the heart of the mountains so you can just pick up your gear and go in morning. As a bonus, host, Rachid Aztat, is a qualified mountain leader and can organise a wide variety of day or longer treks to suit all ages and abilities. Highly recommended.

 I have been to lmlil on many occasions to climb Mt Toubkal. I have also taken all my children one by one as they became old enough to climb the mountain. Rachid is a fantastic host nothing is too much for him to do. He sorted out our transfer and made a very tastey terrien on our arrival. The gueshouse is so peacefull located on a hill with a fantastic view and is just a short walk from Imlil.i would highly recommend this guesthouse for a good base to explore the toubkal region.

Realy normal place near Imlil, just in few steps from main trekking road to Toubkal, very good prices, solid breakfast. Hotel hholder - Rashid speak english wery well, can help with a guideness to mount if needed. Romms now are very simple, but cleans, a little bit cold in winter during nights.

Dar Achain - good hotel to start trekking to Toubkal

Even though the guesthouse isn't finished we had a great time. Small rooms but nice beds. Toilet and (hot :) shower are shared and clean. The view is amazing, great area to go hiking and the people are so nice! They do their absolute best to make sure you have everything you need and more, from extra blankets to a guided hike.
