Terrible place. It does not qualify to be called a hotel. It is in a dingy and dodgy area. My Meknes resident host was uncomfortable walking in the alleys leading up to the place. The corridors were dark. I had to book another hotel because as was concerned for my safety. Pictures on the internet are misleading.

Polite staff, and very accomodating of you as a guest. Stay mostly out of your way which is quite nice as you feel more at ease while at the riad.

Big bummer was the pool had been drained when i visited, and i felt a bit sick one morning after the eggs - but i honestly dont hold it against them. pool could have been a

One of the better Riad's in Meknes

Really beautiful riad, we had a very large room for the four of us. You can rest in the nice courtyard or close to the small swimming pool. Breakfast is fantastic. It is not easy to find but we parked in the close parking lot and they came to pick up us. The restaurant was closed but they suggest  a restaurant  nearby that was  one of the best we went in our trip. They do not speak English and credit card are not accepted.

We spent here the first 2 nights in Morocco and we loved them. 
The place is very downtown, cannot get there with the car but there is a parking lot close by. 

Great rooms, wide and extremely well set up.

Breakfast in ehe patio is great and the landlord prepares memorable marocchino crepes .



First taste of morocco

Lovely facilities, wonderful staff, wonderful food, overall a great stay.  Highly recommend.

Nice beyond words!

Close the all the main sights in Meknes.  Beautiful grounds and friendly staff.  Food is much better quality than Riad standards.  Very pleased!

Absolutely beautiful!

This place is difficult to find!  Once we were there, we were impressed with the decorations in this old palace.  It is nicely appointed, the gardens are beautiful, the pool too.  The heating, however, does not work.  We froze the one night we spent there.  To top it off, the staff is not very friendly or helpful.  The breakfast was excellent.

Staff were terrible , we had to ask for towels, soap, phon. Rooms not like the photos on internet. The hotel owner very unpleasant. Nice the swimming pool e garden.

Its a pretty good hotel if a little hard to find.  Problem is the pool is empty and hasnt' been filled in some time.  They need to post honest photo's so more guests aren't confused.

Slightly faded palace, with nooks and crannies, and cool old stuff all around with lovely furnishings and immaculate bedding and seating areas in the ornate and unique rooms.  We were there first days of January and all the spaces were cold, but wall heater plus space heater and heavy blankets helped.  Really a rare place...I would recommend it for the experience.  Like staying in a museum.  We had dinner there the first night which was truly exceptional, without fuss but a classic preparation from the eight different salads through the sumptuous chicken tagine to the coconut macaroons and tea for dessert.  This was the best cooking we had in the 10 days and 5 cities we visited in Morocco.  It is a destination spot.
