As soon as I got home, I made sure I gave my review of Riad Hikaya. Riad Hikaya has been one of the most pleasant stays I've had in all my travels. As you can see in the photos, it is absolutely gorgeous. I was greeted by Neda who gave me a tour of the riad and sat down with me to have a quick introduction and conversation with tea and small bites. I went during low season and felt as I had the whole place to myself (there were maybe 1-2 other guests there). The staff is incredibly friendly and the service top notch. Anything I needed was taken care of right away including laundry. The breakfast was one of the best I've had and was a full spread. Beheja, was another staff that was so attentive to me and made me feel at home. I stayed in the Sharaf room which was very roomy. The bath tub was one of my favorite features and was definitely utilized multiple times after being in the morocco heat. Riad Hikaya was one of the higher priced stays but I believe it was more than worth it. It's located in one of the best areas of the medina (the kasbah) and does take about 20-30 minute walk into the center. If I do make it back to Marakkech, I would definitely be staying here again.
