You see a lot of negative reviews about this hotel but all I can say is that it was fine. I stayed 5 nights but didn't eat there, so no comment on food, I didn't swim in the pool, which looked as though a clean wouldn't go amiss. But my room was great - felt pretty much like a four star hotel in terms of bedroom except the bathroom was maybe 70% of what you'd expect in top brand hotel - but that was fine. Do, however, get room at the back as the front is noisy at night (cars, motorbikes etc) - back is very peaceful. I'd say ask that for all hotels in Marrakech! Staff were really friendly and helpful - oh and the room doors DO lock (don't know what some posters are going on about!). It's great value if you just want a clean, modern, spacious room to sleep and relax and it's way better value than the one my friend stayed in round the corner at 5 x the price!

this hotel is not a 4 star. Our room didn;t have a fridge, very old bathroom, rusty shower and taps (see photos), the receptionist was giving us a room, then 10 mins later the room is not ready, it went on and on and on.

Absolutely NONE of the photos reflect the actual state of the hotel itself. 
It’s incredibly run down and scruffy. 

The bathrooms are tired and dated and the rooms need a massive overhaul to bring them up to standard. The battery’s for the TV remote were dead so I kept having to change the battery’s for the air con remote. 

I went to the pool one day to ask for a pool towel. I was told I had to leave a 200MOD as a deposit at reception. I was given a receipt and took it to the pool attendant. He disappeared with my receipt and didn’t return. After 45 mins I went back to reception and demanded my money back. 

There are no carpets in any room or communal areas. Woman with high heels clip clipping up and down the corridors late at night/very early morning shouting and screaming with no regard for other guests. 

Dirty stained bedding and bath towels that have seen better days. 

I was only there for 5 nights and that was probably 4 nights too long. 

I would rate this hotel a 2 * at most.

Shabby, scruffy, dated

Absolute worst hotel experience of my life. I came here with my girlfriend, booked a single room. Toilet lights didnt work, no locks on any of the doors except the room door, worst food and only limited food not enough for everyone, hotel staff extremely rude. Cleaners came in my room without knocking and helped themselves in while we we’re in the room, every worker gave the worst attitude and would insult us in arabic  so we couldnt understand, gave us dirty looks, treated us indifferently to anyone else because we’re white? No tv remote in the room, no ac remote, constant noise from workers shouting at 2am 🤦‍♂️ couldnt even sleep! Everything was dirty, blocked shower drains that absolutely stank🤢. They Didnt treat us as guests, they treated us like we’re animals! Definitely do NOT recommend to anyone, save yourselves the stress and book another hotel.

Avoid this hotel at all costs! 
We paid for 3 family rooms (2double beds in each) and were given twin rooms(2single beds) 
After complaining several times they gave us what we had originally paid for, but the receptionist was so rude and kept arguing about it.
There were no fridges in any of the rooms, and the bed sheets were dirty and stank of sweat! 
After repeatedly asking for the cleaners to change them, they would just make the beds up and pretend they were clean sheets, we stripped the beds and wet them so they had to give us clean sheets! Disgusting place! 
We had 2 towels between 8 people, again after constantly asking for more they reluctantly gave us 4 more, so the kids had to use the hand towels. 
The bathroom stank so bad, it was unbearable, I had to cover the drains so the smell didn’t come out! They have never heard of bleach! 
The “buffet” did not have enough food for all the guest who had paid for it! The desserts were 1 per person, and there was only 1 plate of around 10 desserts to share between around 30 ppl. Not acceptable. 
The head man in charge of the dinning room was rude and arrogant and kept shouting at everyone. No customer service skills. The pool is in the shade and despite the unbearable heat outside it was always freezing cold, no one could use it.
When asking about the prices of anything I was told that because I was from the UK I would have to pay the UK price as apparently we “are all rich from uk”. Scammers!  
As we were leaving they forced us to pay again for the hotel tax, claiming we hadn't paid! 
They threatened us with the police and said we would be arrested at the airport as they had our passport copies! 
Wish I had read  the reviews, instead of trusting the travel agent! Do not be fooled by the good reviews, the place is a stinky, dirty, dump!

Scammers Avoid!

currently at this dirty, disgusting hotel and they have phoned the police and are demanding I pay in full AGAIN! 
we had booked through on the beach and they are claiming our holiday was incorrectly priced. 
they have made us pay twice. I cannot believe on the beach uses scammers.
paid £2500 through on the beach for 3 rooms, now i have been made to pay £1000 extra.

The place was a dump. (All pictures are from when I arrived) 
Honestly, it’s very cheap in Morocco so I would spend the bit extra and stay in a much nicer hotel — where you will get the service and amenities you deserve. 
The room had nothing .. no kettle, no hairdryer, which I called for several times (after firstly going to reception to find out the Wi-Fi code .. they had no book or list of numbers by the phone so I had no idea) and they said they’d bring the hairdryer in 10 mins — no one ever came .. eventually went to reception after 2 hours where the security told me in a very rude manner that there was no one here until the morning .. In the morning I was told they don’t have spare.
Bathroom had no attachment for the shower (pictured) so had to hand hold the shower head. The towel rail was broken and just left on the floor. 
Housekeeping didn’t even come to my room once throughout my whole stay not even to change towels or make up the bed. 
Food not great and staff very unfriendly. Asked for an omelette and the lady just disappeared and didn’t come back - so I had breakfast elsewhere after waiting 15 mins. 
I just constantly felt like I was an inconvenience to all the staff so I tried not to ask a lot - and as a solo traveller it was not pleasant. 



Avoid.

Avoid this hotel. I have no idea how this hotel hasn't been closed down. I stayed for 4 nights left on 19th Sept. The hotel has cockroaches in rooms, broken sockets, blocked shower, blocked sink and extremely dirty.  reception didn't want to know, and didnt send anyone to fix it. staff are rude and unhelpful. Food was disgusting, thankfully there's places to eat nearby.   The pictures on the Internet do not by any means reflect what the hotel is actually like.  Everything seems to be broken, including the air con, if you can call it that.  The pool was a health hazard and clearly never cleaned, there are cigarette ends all over the pool area and also on balcony, We had to ask daily for clean towels they were never lift in room like they should be after cleaner leaves, I'm not sure if they even cleaned the rooms, the sheets were definitely not changed.   We had to change rooms as we were overwhelmed with the cockroaches, reception tried to say it wasnt possible, only when i asked for manager did they agree, the 2nd room was just as bad but was only for 1 night. I used the communal loo 3 times and all 3 times I had to ask for loo roll. It's the basic things they couldn't even get right let alone the health and safety of there guest.  Saying good morning /afternoon is pointless as they ignore you. If I had booked 1 week I would have checked out on first night.
There's a lady who sits at reception who claims she doesn't work for hotel but is there to help with excursions, she's a total rip off and over priced, walk 2 mins up the road and same trip was far more cheaper.  
Do not even attempt to eat a meal outside a restaurant as you will be mullered by the locals, it was all just very unsafe. Do not waste your money coming to this hotel and if you do expect to be disappointed. If I could give zero stars I would, the place needs to be closed down.

Avoid

The hotel is pretty close to the airport we were originally put on the 6th but as my mother has limited mobility (they do have 2 small lifts) I was worried should there be a emergency or lift failure they moved us to a suit on the first floor which had a large double bed and 2 singles a fridge ,tv,large wardrobe,chair and small table and small balcony and air conditioning. The rooms are clean but really need up dating the light was dubiously hanging from the ceiling and holes in the walls were sockets had been moved I assume.
There was a shower and separate wc we did however only have very luke warm water for our 7 day stay despite being told it would be fixed
The pool area is nice and was cleaned every morning however the lounger don’t have any cushions and the ones that did were very dated metal ones many of which had broken joints.
We stayed half board and breakfast and dinner is buffet style and can’t be faulted with lots of choice drinks are however rather expensive 
The staff were all very helpful including Nadia who sells execursions 
They have a onsite spa which I would say is rather undersold Lela who works in the spa and is very obliging 
If you have mobility issues despite being marketed as disabled friendly there are 2 steps to get to the lifts which have no hand rails and then another 2 steps to get to the pool and dining area and the spa area is accessed by 2 flights of stairs.
There is a bar area in the hotel which apparently isn’t part of the hotel ? It is open until 1am at which time they seem to like dragging the wooden furniture around which I assume is for cleaning but when this is done on tiled floors it woke us every night ! As our rooms were above 
The wifi was fast and worked in all areas of the hotel 
I wouldn’t say it’s a bad hotel but does need some investment and revamping

Ok but not great

No health and safety,crawling with insects. Door locks don't work, beds broken and intercom pulled out of socket out of use. Can not believe this place is actually running. The management shout in their language. Security walked into our room midnight because someone got stuck in the room next door, so you think your door locks from the inside however opens from the outside 🤔 total joke
