I’ll be short: the beds is very very hard, okay i’m not a princess, but dirty rooms, smelly bed, broken bath foucet, stinking toalettes, no soap, no warm water is not acceptable . The host guys is okay, but not the best. Sad story.

Terrible for europian guys

I'd say that this hostel has absolutely nothing, and reading the first reviews we start to think that we've got the hot water gone wrong! Let's start from the most important thing when you're looking for a place for the night: the bed, obscene! It was like they just put a sheet on the bed net without a mattress. Hard and broken! Secondly the shower, on this we were pretty unlucky and when we stayed we didn't drink the hot water and to fix it we would have to wait in the afternoon.

It sucks!

The first positive thing: the host was really very friendly and open. The location is also good, as it is easy to find on the edge of the Medina with enough parking lots in the immediate vicinity. Unfortunately, the hostel seems very neglected and has come down. The many positive reviews can only be traced back some time when the hostel was perhaps still maintained and clean. (The cleanliness was praised even on Lonely Planet) Unfortunately, we can't confirm this at all! The bathroom was smooth and somehow was a bit broken everywhere. The room was uncomfortable and it was also not cleaned for a long time. At night it was sticky and noisy. We couldn't get the air conditioning going and that's also better because we didn't clean it either. Unfortunately, we felt like we weren't leaving the hostel after a short night, and we were not even happy to get wet and wet again.

I'm sure he's had better times...

Great location. Good kitchen. Clean showers and toilets. But honestly the worst bed I have ever slept on. The double bed in room 6 is Awful - I even checked to see if there was a sheet of wood under the sheet. I didn’t sleep at all. Also the noise from the streets is loud too so take ear plugs if a light sleeper. Towels weren’t provided. 

The massive plus for us in this place was the location. In our previous accommodation (at the north of the medina) we got lost in the dark on our way back once and it put us off being out at night. We’d also been to the square during the day and were upset by the treatment of animals and the amount of attention we got for having a walk about. However I really recommend the square at night. It’s beautiful and everyone is very friendly. You’re not approached nearly as much and there is so much going on. We stopped for a tea in a rooftop bar to see what it was like from up there and that was a really nice experience too. 

Good location. TERRIBLE BED

The bunk bed dorms, bathrooms and the kitchen were in great shape, the position of the hostel right at the medina, 10 mins from the big Jemaa, is also good. Unfortunately, parts of the staff couldn´t help us with simple things like information about airport transfer or tourist guides for Marrakech

Good hostel, mediocre service

Stop searching! I've spent 5 nights in this 24-bed hostel just in front of El-Badi palace and I felt like home. Super friendly and interesting staff, yet helpful and professional people. Hot shower. Clean. Quiet. Fatima's crêpe for breakfast. Terrace. Located in the old jewish neighbourhood. Very cheap price. 
Thank you Ahmed, Imen, Ossama, Fatima and the rest of the team, I had a very good start in Morrocco thanks to you! I'll come back ;) 

Looking for a clean safe and friendly hostel 2 min from the médina? 

Located two minutes from the Mellah (Jewish quarter) and ten minutes from Jemaa El-Fna, this small hostel is not only convenient for visiting almost all the monuments of Medina, but also offering high-end rooms, spas, kitchen and terrace. The price? Reasonable. About 10 euros/person/night. The service? The staff is hyper friendly, hospitable and helpful. This could not have been better. I'll return to it as soon as possible!

This is a great hostel!

Rooms not exactly big-but ok, staff at the reception very friendly, community bath big and clean, when two people shower there's no water anymore, kitchen and terrace nothing special.

I stayed a few nights. Nice place for the price. Lots of hot water! 
possible a little tricky to find. What else can I say? It's a hostel. Plain, no heating. Open outside rooftop kitchen for guests. I'd stay again.

Good quiet place

Wet saunas, bad smells, living room full of mosquitoes, until very uncomfortable sleeping on the floor would have turned out to be softer, dirty, no change I had to leave the hostel in search of money to pay, no cobraban with card.
