Bianca Beach Family & Resort

Stayed at this hotel with my family for a 7 night-stay in November 2018. While the hotel advertises itself as a 5* Resort, in fact it is more of an apartment complex that is spread around the lovely Agadir Marina. The distance from parts of the hotel to the other (for example from the reception to the pool/beach) is approximately 500 metres. While the Marina itself was built around 2011, it seemingly has not received many investments since and many of the restaurants and shops in the area now struggle for business. Also Bianca Beach is quite worn down already, and in need of further investments. We stayed in a Deluxe Suite. The rooms was large and with a lovely view of the Marina, all the way to the sea and the Southern parts of the City. The location of the hotel perfect, and it is approximately a 20-30 minute walk to the centre. There are however plenty of restaurants near the marina at very good prices, so there is really no need to go to the city to eat. The hotel's pool and private beach are also nice, although in need of redevelopment. The hotel's restaurant Casa Mia is also quite good, with ok prices compared to the city centre. While several reviews state that the rooms are dirty, in fact the rooms were very clean and the daily cleaning was very thorough. However, the only negative part of the stay was the service from the front desk and this aspect needs a lot of improvements if the hotel wishes to live up to its star rating. For example, we called in the day before to request a baby cot and even though during check-in the front-desk attendant promised that it would be immediately delivered to our room this was not the case. Only after several calls and visits to the front desk did a manager come tell us that the cot was unavailable for the first night and it was thus only delivered the second stay of our stay. In addition, like other reviews here have stated, the keys stopped working after 5 days and this issue was difficult to solve due to the poor customer service from the front office staff. If you're looking for a aparthotel with large rooms, fully equipped kitchenette and great views, then Bianca Beach is right for you. However, if you're looking for luxury accomodation and a resort, then look elsewhere.
