The owner of the place is very helpful. He informed us about the restaurants, taxi numbers(good ones-normal prices, many taxis charging double to triple sometimes). He even saves us from getting a traffic penalty :). They maybe improve the cleaning service a bit but overall it was a nice experience. Thanks.

Very Helpful Host

Great, well-furnished apartment, with all the necessary amenities - great for a short or a longer stay. We spent a few days here and really enjoyed the place, the host was very friendly and helpful, and accommodated all our needs. The balcony unfortunately didn't have the nice sea view as we were on the lower floor apartment, but that wasn't a big problem for us.

Overall it's a great place to stay, a few minutes walk to the center downhill which if you're in good shape would be a nice form of exercise!

Great apartment

you will need a car to go to the center, if you dont like to walk too much
the apartments are very clean and equipped with everything
the view is very nice, you can see all the city from its terrace or balcony

Although this place was on the expensive side for us (100 euro per room per night) , we definitely are glad we stayed in when in Budva.

The manager was very welcoming - even bringing us some local grapa and fruit from his village. 

The apartment was spectacular and so clean. It's a bit of a walk to the town centre (and a longer walk at night after a few drinks) but it's certainly manageable. 

If you have young kids though it may be a bit more difficult to get up the hill so bear that in mind. 

Stunning views 

Contessa apartments are amazing.they are clean. Good size for families .....the owners are very helpfull with us.....apartments are close to beaches , to nightlife ... private parking is very good to all off the residents..... i enjoy the holiday there alot 

Amazing holiday

Everything was good, good view of the city from the apartment. WiFi is avalible, but at our stay it had been turned off somehow.

Nice appartment in good condition. However we didnt have any formal checkin and checkout, only a non english speaking cleaning lady to show us or room

Good appartment unclear check in

If you want to get here you have to overcome steep altitude.  It is rather close to old town, at the bottom of the hill is grocery and bakery. Apartment is clean and nice, and I really like it's stone style.

Hidden object

Difficult to find (address is not accurate and there is no signal on the entrance), basic but spacious room.

OK for 1 night

Unfortunatelly I can't have any opinion about the appartment because we didn't stay there. The minute we arrived, late in the afternoon, the owner informed us that there was a problem with the bathroom and that we couldn' t stay there. He proposed to stay in one other place nearby which belonged to a lady. Although she was kind and helpful,  the apartment wasn't good enough and certainly it didn't worth 48 Euro. Moreover the owner of the Contessa Apartments never came back to see if everything was allright or if we needeed anything. We never saw him again. We are very dissappointed.
