I had a wonderful stay at the Mansion Arechiga it was a very charming hotel, walking distance from almost everything. The hotel staff was very friendly my suite was clean and relaxing. There is a beautiful common courtyard that was great to sit in and read a paper or go over your days photos on your phone.

First visit to Zacatecas 

This hotel especially the first floor rooms are spacious and has 2 floors with a small kitchen (electric burner) and a nice size livingroom area. HIgh ceilings and spacious
is the word for this hotel.
The hotel has a restaurant but you need to order food for breakfast or dinner beforehand so they can prepare the meals for you in the center court patio area. In the summer it is wonderful and you are allowed to smoke because it is an open space.  

There is a spa facility within the confines of the hotel, with a sauna that costs 150 pesos for usage. There is a separate charge for massages and it is recommended to make reservations beforehand.

Please note that there is no parking space available at this hotel, but there is another
hotel owned by the owner¨s mother which is approximately 5 minutes walking distance and you can make arrangements with the other hotel.

In front of the hotel, there is the wonderful Alameda Park with its greenery.

But, you must walk the stairs from the park to the hotel which may make you breathless for a couple of minutes because Zacatecas is high in altitude approximately 
2400 meters above sea level.

It is recommended for a couple of nights stay at this hotel.

We stayed two nights at Mansion Arechiga and had a quiet stay.  The room was very spacious and clean.  The bed was very comfortable.  The bathroom was big and the shower was warm.  Our room was located at the front of the building, which can get quite noisy.  Nevertheless, we had a comfortable stay.
