My wife and I loved our stay here. It's so relaxing and quiet. Great little plunge pool area and close to the beach. Freddy is an excellent host. Another bonus is the breakfast and lunch restaurant right at the entrance (the Porch). Would definitely stay here again if we ever return to Puerto Vallarta.

Lovely Relaxing Ambiance

Very clean, beautiful inn.  Central to all our needs beautiful beach, restaurants.  Some problem with  wi/fi for one day but it was addressed immediately and rectified.  Staff very attentive to all requests.  Stairs will be challenging to some but I found it a great work-out daily.  Not an AI but very reasonably priced for all that you get.

Beautiful cozy little Inn

I have been staying at La Teraza off and on over the past 15 years and I find it to be the perfect little getaway in PV. It’s a charming authentic  hideaway and clean and the kitchenette has what you need for breakfast and snacks. Randy & Freddy & Alejandria are consummate hosts. The terrace is a beautiful spot to watch the sunset every night. The place has been refreshed including a plunge pool—great addition! Lots of stairs so if you have reduced mobility not a good fit.

Perfect little corner of paradise

My new home away from home!!! I really loved this place,very good rates,is very well located, super clean and quiet, friendly staff,just a short walk to the beach and restaurants, beautiful gardens, I highly recommend this place, I will be back every year!

Home away from home

La Terraza is a beautiful, safe, and conveniently located Inn.  Far better than the large resorts, LGBT owned and operated, the owners Randy, his partner Freddy “Kiko”, and Freddy’s sister made it feel like I was staying with family.

The ONLY place I will stay in Puerto Vallarta going forward. Far better than any other option.

Lovely hidden gem tucked on a quiet street a block from beach and restaurants. It's been recently remodeled and a beautiful plunge pool added. There's a pharmacy, atm, and wonderful breakfast/lunch restaurant on premises. Great wifi and a/c.

The owner Freddie is a sweetheart and aims to help you enjoy your stay. Everything was perfection. There are stairs so be prepared, however, the short climb is totally worth the view and privacy. I highly recommend this lovely inn.

Lovely hidden gem

We ate breakfast at different restaurants each of the7 days we were here and the Terraza Cafe was our absolute favourite. I had the savoury crepes, my son had sweet crepes, and my husband had Monte cristo sandwich and all three meals were so good. Fresh squeezed orange juice❤️.

Cafe was AMAZING

I really enjoyed my stay at La Terraza Inn.   The staff are marvelous.  They are friendly and  accommodating.    It is an older hotel with 14 rooms.      The rooms are large and clean.   It isn't a five star hotel, but it is clean and comfortable.   The location cannot be beat!  It is a block to the beach and only a couple blocks to restaurants and bars.  In spite of this proximity and being on a busier street, the hotel is very quiet.    I went to bed every night listening to the ocean waves. 
The restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch.   It is a great breakfast spot.   I had no desire to go anywhere else. 
The stairs could be a challenge for someone who has mobility issues.  For me they were a good workout. 
The gardens are lovely.   
The wifi  wasn't always dependable, but they are working on that.

Great Place to Stay!

We stayed up the street a Vazul, but walked by the restaurant every morning.  Ate there 3 of the 7days!  It was awesome.  Great, reasonable menu.  Eggs Benedict are amazing and the Bailey's and coffee and Mimosas weren't bad either.

RESTAURANT is awesome!

Try this cute little restaurant gem. Super busy breakfast place, but worth the waiting time. Servers were so nice and very attentive. Had delicious crepes and coffee. They have a wonderful menu and daily specials. Everything looks yummy. Will visit again!
