We stayed 6 nights. It was very clean and the internet was good enough for us to work online early in the morning. Everyday we came home to our room and it was clean and orderly. We booked the hotel on Booking.com and it was 450p per night. 

Very clean hotel for Budget Traveler

Attractive property, roomy free enclosed parking. Nice lobby. Wifi strongest in the lobby.
Well kept, ample room (we took a room on the second floor, overlooking the pool.) We didn't use the pool as the water was too cool at the time of our visit.
The location is a bit off center, but we liked the 5 minute walk to the plaza, restaurants and the Mercado Municipal.

Friendly staff and management. Some English spoken.
Beds reasonably comfortably, if a little high off the floor.
Bathroom well arranged; plenty of hot water in the shower.
Only negative was the bad smell coming from the shower drain, but easily dealt with by covering it.
Breakfast was easily missable, even though included in room price. Much more interesting food elsewhere, eg, Mercado Municipal. Example: the antojitos being freshly cooked outside the Mercado or for a sit down breakfast, "Desayunos Lily's".

Pleasant stay off center in Ixmiquilpan

The hotel was clean and simple. It has cable TV, restaurant and parking lot. The beds were comfortable and the pillows a little bit hard. The hotel location is good, a couple of blocks from downtown and restaurants. The hotel itself has a restaurant which we used for breakfast and it was good and fresh. The price is good.

The bad side was our bathroom had some wetness on one wall which caused some fall off the painting

The Grutas de Tolantoco is about 45 minutes away.

The personnel was very friendly and helpful.

Simple and Clean

Nothing fancy, but a very economic and pleasant place to stay. Five minute walking distance to plaza. We visited from  here in a day trip the grutas Tolantongo and enjoyed the evenings in town. The hotel is very clean and has friendly service, even a thatched pool. The Restaurant has good, although slow breakfast. Two blocks away is also an old bridge from the 17th century.
