We chose this guesthouse as our last stay of our holidays. We didnt really expect a lot as we were backpacking but it turned out to be a great decision! The room was very clean and quite spacious. Its only a five minute walk to bangsar, a lovely area with many stylish coffee shops, bars and restaurants. Very easy from there to grab a taxi and also the station was okay to reach by foot (20 min). Breakfast was not included but when we woke up the owner served us some tasty roti, tea and coffee. He was very helpful with all kind of things (also helped me with a herbal oil to deal with the itchy sandfly- bites i had ;-)) 
And on top of that they gave us a lift at the end which was really great because we had all our backpacks with us. 
Thanks a lot and we will definitely come back once we return to KL!

Great guesthouse with very helpful staff

We stayed for 5 nights on our trip to KL. Clean comfortable hotel with very friendly staff. Walkable from the Bangsar Village complex of shops, restaurants and bars, and 30 mins walk from the LRT into the city (if you can cope with the heat).

Pleasant Hotel in Nice Area of KL

We stayed at Jeumpa d'Ramo for 2 nights in the early of September, we had a great experience and million thanks to Anuar and the team for the below helps to us.   
- I was offered an early check-in and late check-out due to my flight with Air-Asia.  I was offered an early check-in and a late breakfast the day i arrived, while the normal check-in time is 3pm, but my flight with Air-Asia arrive KL at the very early morning and I am lack of energy to go out for lunch, so Anuar helped to arrange all these forme.  I stayed in my room until departure to the airport in late afternoon.  This gave me great flexibility and helped me feeling at home.  
- Helpful and friendly staffs kept giving us practical advices on our logistics, schedule and security tips.  We were going to a wedding banquet in the evening but it was raining heavily outside and difficult to get a taxi, the staff of the guesthouse gave us a lift to the restaurant…  My friend forgot to bring the toothbrush here and the staff went to shopping center for her, and we forgot to take the internal power switch here and was given one here… We appeared to be lousy travelers that need a nice guesthouse to take care of us and Jeumpa d'Ramo had done so.    
My stay here was like staying in a family house, quite, relaxed, clean and comfortable.  The guesthouse is located in a residential area with 2 shopping centers in walking distance.  Also, there are great restaurants in Bangsar shopping center.  I definitely will take my family here the next time.

Will stay the next time in KL -  stylish guesthouse in KL

We stayed at Jeumpa d'Ramo in Feb 2011 for 3 days and that was our second stay there. The first one was in May 2008.

My experience of this bed&breakfast has been nice. Everyone was nice, the room is spacious, the price affordable, and the area where it's located, Bangsar, is a very exclusive neighborhood  There are two big shopping complex within walking distance. There is also a small swimming pool which is always loved by the kids at JdR.

It's quite a distant to LRT station though. Meaning you cant really walk there. What we did was calling a cab to take us to the LRT station then did the city tour by LRT. Getting a cab was very easy because JdR is right off the main road but inside the building is very quiet and serene. It's not noisy at all.

Staying there feels more like staying at an extended family's house. And if we don't like it, we're not gonna come back for a second, right? I highly recommend the place for those travelling with young kids and those looking for a bit of serenity in KL.
