We went for a weekend trip from Singapore . We were 6 friends who stayed in this apartment for 1 night and 1 day. Location of the house is very nice . Market is nearby and restaurants . Place is very clean. We loved our stay. They even have free parking in case you are driving .

Weekend trip

Stayed here from 9-12 May 2018 in Room 403 through Booking.com under Cameron Pasar Malam management.
2 queen beds in 2 rooms, 1 queen bed in another room - fits 10 people.
Functional water heater, spacious living room, basic necessities in the bathroom (soap & shower foam) and kitchen (fridge, plates, mugs, basic cutlery, stove, a wok, kettle, and you can request either a steamboat set OR a large rice cooker during check in). But there is no microwave though in the advertisement, it said that microwave is provided.
Only one parking space per apartment (rather troublesome if you come with families). Other cars have to be parked outside the premise, down the hilly slope, which I find rather challenging (and scarry too). But I saw some other cars simply parked at the Waiting car park area and without being clamped (there is a notice about this "illegal" parking). So, in this case, I was a bit unhappy with the apartment's management.
Very near Brinchang town. Lots of eateries down the slopes, if you don't mind walking as parking would be a GREAT challenge. But please bare in mind, the night market is no longer in town. It has been relocated at Golden Hills area.
Overall, I am satisfied with the place. No great complaint.

Value for Money

Most of the unit here is the homestay type to stay. We have stayed at Grandview @ Crown Imperial Court. They provide 3 rooms with 1 king and 1 single size bed each room. The living room is large and the kitchen clean. The price is quite reasonable since they provided parking lot too. The hot shower not working so good. Need to be repaired.

Best for view of Brinchang

What you pay is what you ll get. So do read the TA reviews to get an idea otherwise your holidaying here can be ruined. This hotel does not meet international standards.

Firstly, the driveway up to your aprt block is very very narrow. I wonder how they got passed building approvals.

2. Apartment is barely clean but bathroom is very slimey and wet. Electric hot water heater in 2 bathrooms in the 3 room apartment. Only master bedroom has en suite.

3rdly, there is much  noise from both neighboring in apartments and the highway. Also annoying  you can head people chatting  loudly at nearby apartments. I did not get any  sleep.

3. Called made to  night duty staff about how to turn on tv (astro Njoi channels) but no response from number given (call after 8pm !). There is no reception or Check in after a certain hour at night I suspect.  No one returned my call

4. The apartments vary in price and quality as this is not a serviced apartment or hotel but individual home owners using a central booking system (booking.com). Hence product is not homogenous /standard so maybe the higher priced 3room apartments come with better facilities and cleanliness. Weekend rates are more expensively.

5. Try not to visit cameron highlands during weekends and school holidays as you could be stuck in traffic at various stretches of highway 59.

Overall, barely clean and I would not stay here if I have to pay more than rm 300.

However, if you just need a roof over your head, you can bunk in here with a group of 8 or 9pax.



Not up international std..1 star (poor!)

The building was dirty..we stayed room B1-5.. the space was ok..but a lot of insects partying on the bed.. smells disgusting and worst thing was, they asked for additional charge for cleaning ... destroyed our holidays

Dirty, Smelly to the highest level 😡

This place is up on a hill steep to walk up and down and parking is not convenient especially if you come in more then one car. The entire block is run down and shabby, although the apartment itself is 6/10 but not suitable for holiday. My advice book in other places which will give a better holiday accommodation. The reception area to book also make shift and so dodgy.

Very shabby

Wl be my first n last time staying here! Made dunno how many rounds just to look for the right lot to park! Regretted booking the place! Hv 3 rooms but place is old. Can hear upstairs ppl walking n moving chairs! Very noisy!

Disappointed stay

Booked the place through Airbnb for a team building trip (5 pax), selected this place because there's 3 rooms, 5 beds. (And because we will be staying in the place for most of our activities, we needed the space.)

Facilities are badly maintained. Tap in shower room isn't working, some power points aren't working. We borrowed a steamboat bowl, and it was ridiculously dirty. Plates and utensils aren't washed properly and still dirty. Before we leave, we were cleaning up and saw that there was a cockroach!
If you have no choice at all, sure. I'd only come here as a last resort though.

Apparently, the review on Airbnb was okay/good. So, meh. Stick with TripAdvisor you guys.
