A beautiful B&B villa, with excellent and friendly service. You have full use of the living room, the garden and the swimming pool. They have a bar, and can prepare dinner. They offer free parking and free wifi (a bit unreliable though), which is very rare in Malawi. The price is quite value for money. 
The windows of the rooms did not fully closed, and the cold wind of mountainous Blantyre kept creeping in, resulting in an uncomfortable night for some of the guests. 
The villa is located far from the city centre, so there is nothing to do around (although you can always just stay in and relax).

Beautiful B&B villa with excellent service

I want to stress that the employees at Chenje's Nest were wonderful, and are definitely doing their best with a somewhat difficult situation.  And the building and grounds clearly can be quite pretty and comfortable.  The problem seems that things have been left to go a bit.  When I visited, the WiFi did not work at all, the television in the living room was operational but had no satellite service so there was nothing to watch, and the place seemed poorly stocked and maintained -- very little food, some mold showing in various places, and the pool was like a green pond.  While it's true that the price is low, the advertising (saying it has WiFi, pictures showing a clean pool) are misleading.  Chenje's has nice and helpful staff, and they deserve a better-maintained facility.  I think this guest house could be a lovely place and a great deal, but it needs attention from the management.
