I traveled to Remich to celebrate my buddy's birthday and to discover the Luxembourg wine country along the Moselle River. I did my research and decided upon the Hotel la Foret. We were not disappointed in the least. First, Christophe answered all of my questions and concerns about visiting Luxembourg in the weeks/months before the trip. He also provided me with unternet links so I could arrange winery tours in the local area. We found our rooms clean, spacious, and quiet. The breakfast buffet was outstanding! And because of the birthday celebration, we booked the gourmet wine dinner (paired with local wines with every course) to be exquisite (From my research, Hotel la Foret is the only local hotel which offers a room rate complete with gourmet dinner/breakfast. Finally, besides Christophe, I found everyone of he hotel staff to be friendly and welcoming. All in all a most wonderful experience, from first to last.
