Location very good.The building itself late in the construction of the Soviet era.Therefore, I think do not need to explain in more detail how everything looks.Personnel quite friendly.As you find in the center of practice, it was all close.Entertainment, catering, lagoon, sea.

Motel outside is not so beautiful , but rooms are clean and spacy.
Motel is in good location. Need to walk 1300m to the sea. There is Curonian Lagoon in other side of motel ~ 400 metres.
Nice place to rest and have good time in nature.

This is our second stay there, and the only three reasons I am not rating it higher is a rather unpleasant smell in the room that second time (I believe it had been caused by too wet weather), the still-sadly-not-too-convenient shower cabin, and the fact they change towels not every day (be careful!). Otherwise it is fine.

The location is just perfect: in the vicinity of the bus stop, but closer to the sea (not at the main road). A grocery store is nearby (the hotel doesn't serve breakfast, but there are cups and plates and other tableware as well as an electric kettle and ice-box in every room), and a first-aid post, information post and bike rent (you may keep your bike in the hotel cellar!) are also in the neighbourhood. 

We stayed in a double room in the 2nd floor, which is an attic. The room is not too spacious, but cosy, and the wood finish of the walls and ceiling definitely ads to this impression. The bed is good (although just a little on the narrow side). 

The staff is rather helpful; they speak Russian and mostly understand English, though it could be a bit difficult to catch the head administrator on site (you'd better give her a call in advance). 

All in all, a good place for not too long a stay and a wonderful 'base' to explore Joudkrante and Neringa (Curonian Spit) on the whole.

NB! Hot water comes with a boiler, so watch your share: one tank is quite enough for one person showering thoroughly (with hear washing), but the second person will have to wait for about 30 minutes.

Nice little moterl near Kursiu lagoon

A comfortable and nice little hotel. At a more than reasonable price.

This accommodation is a soviet time capsule. Furniture, bedding and everything about it is outdated. We were only staying the one night so it served its purpose however if you are intent on staying longer I would suggest other options.

The place does not accept cards and there are no ATMS in the town of Juodkrante. This includes the on site bar.

The receptionist was far from welcoming, spoke Russian but no English.

Didn't bother me however the others in our group noticed a lingering smell of damp in the rooms. Seems a common theme from previous reviews.

On the positive the location was good and the facilities in the room were clean. The shower had decent pressure.

Soviet Time Capsule

Yes, it is a Soviet time building. Nothing better and nothing worse. You can have a WC/balcony/refrigerator/cheap furniture/an outdated tv in your room and a Russian speaking receptionist. If you stay some 1-3 nights there it is ok. If you stay a week or even a month here, then ... well - you can do better:)
