Very good hotel in this price range. We had a suite which was good value and spacious with AC, two rooms and two double beds (one king, one queen). Rooms are in good condition and very clean - cotton sheets particularly good & reliable hot shower. Limited English spoken but the friendliness, patience and good humour of the staff helped us through! Location is out of the main centre but there are plenty of buses & a tram close by - easy to navigate with the 2gis app. The hotel was originally started to accommodate lecturers from the USA on exchange programmes with the local university, which still continues today. We met one of the US founders who was keen to receive feedback. Taxi from the airport took 15 mins and cost 1.000 Tenge.
