The place is very close to Kamakura train station. The room and facilities are very comfortable and clean. The staff are very kind and polite. I had a great experience there and I recommend this place! Arigato!

This place is located just 1 minute from the Kamakura train station so it is really convenient. Suitable for tourist/visitor with light luggage. This place is located on the 4th floor without lift facilities. This means if you bring along a lot of luggages, then you will have a hard time carrying up and down. 

The ryokan is really clean with 3 rooms available for rent. Very cozy and you will feel very comfortable the minute you arrived. We stayed for 2 nights and the owner are really friendly. The beds are tatami type. Very clean

Great experience! 

Good location

Luna Inn gives priority to women, and it is convenient, clean, and comfortable for 2 or 3 women traveling together and willing to share a room. There were two rooms with curtained bunks, and a room with very comfortable futon. Double glazing meant that the convenient location was not noisy at night. 

There was enough space to relax in our corner room, but there is also  a shared common area with a kotatsu table. Yes, you can hear people talking there from your room, and yes, one loudmouth can dominate the conversation (!), but the night we stayed, people were busy making friends and sharing Kamakura tips.

There are cons: it is on the 4th floor (no elevator), you won't find somebody on duty all day and night at the reception counter, and there is just one bathroom, with handbasin, toilet, and bath/shower behind the same changing-area door, so you need to either negotiate bath times or work fast! Wifi is available but has limited capacity.

However, it was above all clean, friendly, and comfortable, which is great value given the extremely convenient and easy to find location.
