It was a very traditional Japanese experience, which is exactly what I wanted. I really enjoyed my stay. The staff did not speak much English (hardly any), but were very helpful and friendly. They had two small hot springs baths, one for men and one for women, which would be switched once or twice a day. One of them has an outside bath as well.I strongly recommend getting the room with both breakfast and dinner included, so that you get the full onsen experience.
