The lady who runs the lodging is very motherly who is always so thoughtful. She advised us to wear the gumboots they provide when it was very wet on the roads. The daily breakfast was way above our expectations. We had miso pot, apple slices, yogurt, bread, ham/cheese, fried croquet, egg rolls, sweet bread, etc. Everyday’s breakfast was different. The room was also spacious and cosy with a good heater. The shared toilet was clean. The bathroom has a large ofuro which is much needed in such cold weather. And of course location was most convenient, a few mins walk to the yu-road (escalator) to get to Hikage ski. They run a bread/ice-cream shop on the main street and work really hard till late. Highly recommended!
