Very reasonably priced! Decent night's sleep in the dorm, even with a pretty thin mattress and mediocre ventilation. Clean. Very helpful staff.

Very good for what you pay. Cleaner than what you expect from the outside.

I loved everything about the guest house. Our own lockers and storage were perfect, the living room was so homey it felt like a living room. People were nice and spoke Japanese as well as English. I came to japan looking for a full, immersive experience and this was the perfect place. Fun location next to markets, bars, food, close to Kokura castle and the river walk. 

To me, it’s a better way to experience japan instead of a hostel where everyone only speaks English, and you might forget you’re traveling in another country.

It is good guesthouseClean and cosyStaff is vey kind and service is good tooBut I think around the guesthouse is little bit scarryAnd there is not enough towel, so i recommend you can bring your own towel

Base on the decent price I would say its perfect for budget traveller. The common area is warmly decorated with memories of people who were once here. Still, the showers, bed, hygiene are budget price level and shared space.

What a fraud guest house!!!! Didn't advertise online that it was a female only  and us 3 lads booked a nite and then they wouldnt give a refund!! What a joke. Wouldn't recommend anybody to go there. FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD BEWARE!!!!

Room as booking  conditions but forgot my bedsheet  and public area is fifth floor as cozy home reunions.

I stayed here for 1 night in a female dorm.
Pros: You get a private locker to store your personal belongings and the bathroom and showers were clean.

Cons: 
-Wifi was poor and kept dropping out 
-Overall cleanliness was poor. The carpet felt dirty and dusty. The hostel is located in an apartment building and there was other people's stuff everywhere and was very cluttered. 
-The area at night can be a little dangerous, It's in a red light district (a lot of bars, drunk people and clubs around) 
-No luggage storage (if you want to keep your luggage at the hostel prior to checking in and checking out, you just keep it in the communal living-unlocked and unattended).
Would not recommend this hostel unless you are just here for a quick stay and cheap place to sleep.
