Near the station, but the area has limited options. The hotel used an old key system and the rooms seem dated, but for a night it's okay.

Great hotel for the location and price. Room was clean and had basic amenities. There's no onsen but you can freely access one 5 minutes away. There is also free tea and microwave, and a restaurant that offers Japanese-style breakfast. Only downside, the walls are quite thin, so it can be noisy.

Great for the price

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. It was one of the best locations for a decent price that you could find in Beppu. The manager was very nice and they even had machines where you could filled a water bottle up with hot tea and then cool it in the fridge for a free drink. The rooms were also no e and spacious for Japan. The pillow wasn't very comfortable, but the bed was. They didn't have English instructions for the AC, so it was a bit of a guessing game, but it did work very well. I would easily stay there again.

Nice Hotel in a Good Location.

The refrigerator makes a lot of noise! Also the room 401 is too close to train station, and I hear bells and announcements of the station starting very early morning!!

very good location

The location is very good which is very close to the Beppu Station. The room is comfortable and tidy though a bit old honestly. But if you compare the price of other hotels & their locations, I think the price for Business hotel is fair enough. It is perfectly fine for a short stay in Beppu. Staffs are also very helpful and nice.

Excellent Location

the bedsheets are clean , rooms are sufficient for an overnight stay but pls. do note that staffs speaks zero english, only knows keywords in english such us check in and check out plus name. i had to ask the person from the tourism staff in beppu to write in japanese my request to leave our luggage for 7 hours.

A really old hotel and you really pay fo what you get.
The hote reception is on the second floor, and there is a salon on the first floor. 
The lift from 1st to 2nd floor is stopped after 10pm and I arrived after 11pm, but the old man at the reception was kind enough to start the lift for me so that I didnt have to carry all my luggage up to the second floor. 
However, the next day when I asked if I could put my luggage in the hotel while I go sightseeing for the day, he said no. They could only accommodate my luggage for the morning, but not til evening. No reason was given. (I was wondering if it was chargeable but he didnt even mention anything about luggage storage fees, just a flat no) Thankfully it was still early and there were lockers available at the station. 

Also, I dont think this hotel had wifi. I was too lazy to go down to the reception to ask about the wifi since it was close to midnight but neither my ipad nor phone had any wifi signals so I dont think they provide free wifi. 

Convenient about 1 min walk to the station. But overall not for fussy travellers. Just a place for sleeping.
