Frankly, the standard of the hotel is not modern at all. The rooms need renovation badly. Yet, I liked the old fashion style my room was furnitured. I had a room at the upper storey, I think it was No. 11. It was very quite because located on the back of the house, there is a huge courtyard and the street is a bit away.

Friendly staff, budget, good location

Great food lovely bar staff,rooms need some work room 2 only cold water from the shower, was very dissapointed cause $200US went missing from my room and my suitcase dug up and nothing was done about it

Disappointed

Luckily we only spent one night here, because we didn’t feel comfortable at all. The staff is unfriendly, they hardly looked us in the face. The rooms are run down and outdated, felt like we were back to the 70s. But for sleeping and taking a shower the place served its purpose, and the location isn’t too bad.

Ok to spend a night

it's noisy and dirty, but above all my cell phone was stolen inside the room during the day, i try to speak to the management that seems to not care about it, so if you wanna be safe and not being robbed , avoid this dangerous place

not a safe place

The standard of this hotel is way below impressive and it should be out of service altogether for a COMPLETE renovation and decor. I happen to went to Jamaica and decided not to travel too late outside of Kingston so I decided to stay there for only one night but I felt as if I throw away £70 for the night. The state of the room was unbelievable, there's a wash basin in the room with some old fashion cupboard with the doors falling off. The AC was so noisy and the light switch falling off the wall. This hotel is very central and should be in a far better condition for the price they are charging. Never would I recommend absolutely anyone to stayed there. I will never  go there again in that condition. Travellers are willing to pay the price for their stay  but not for run down hotel. It is a crying shame to be charging that money for a place that is not conductive to travellers.

Very disappointed

We needed a hotel in Kingston for one night and close to the Knutsford express bus station for the following morning.
My partner gave her credit card for the deposit ( a card that wasn't used for 6 months) and the following day we had a call from the bank warning about a transaction back in the UK for 400£. We had to cancel the card and it was her only credit card on this journey...
The hotel itself is run down, rooms are outdated, the toilet/shower, looks like from a bad movie, oh and the staff is unfriendly.
I wouldn't have minded any of this if we had paid $30 for the night, not $90...
My advice is stay away.
