Beware that this b&b might cancel your stay without notice and keep your money.

They left our family of 4  - 2 small children of 2 and 4 years old- without accommodation at night in the busy Verona.
When we nicely call to let them know we were arriving late because of the weather conditions their reply was in a very rude manner. They told us that we could no longer stay and that they will keep our money.  When I say I would complain, they reply that they do not care and will not give any of our €120 back.
I would not trust this hostel, it's owned by very, very bad people.

They cancelled before our arrival

Is a nice B&B in the heart of Verona! The owners is very kind and showed us on map all the sightseeing we were supposed to see! Bed are a bit hard but its no problem, because the breakfast was enjoyable in the morning! 
We got a room with a view and a balcony, so we are very happy with our stay!

Cozy to a good price! 

I got a good price on booking.com and only stayed two nights, so for the most part the downfalls of this hotel were bearable. Had I paid more and stayed longer I would have been disappointed.

The location is great if travelling by car as it's situated on the river just on the edge of the old town and easy to access. The room was very clean and modern in design, but the bed was hard as a rock. I'm not exaggerating when I say this, but it was the hardest bed I have ever slept on. I think sleeping on the floor would have been comparable. The owner is very nice and accommodating, he personally showed me to the parking spot as opposed to just blurting out directions. The shared bathrooms are very clean and stocked with soaps and shampoo. The kitchen is nice but very small, I can't see how it would be possible to accommodate every guest at the same time if the hotel was at full capacity. The breakfast was good the first day, but on the last day there were basically scraps left. Two pieces of salami and a couple ends of the loaf of bread, no cheese.

Overall I feel that this place has potential, but isn't there yet. My biggest advice would be for the owner to treat this more as a place of business and less as his own apartment (he lives here as well). Having his TV on late at night, conversations with his girlfriend in the common area, or hearing their dog bark are all very disruptive to guests and are not acceptable. Also, get new mattresses.

Do not stay in room 3 as it is located directly in the lobby area and you will hear every little conversation as well as the door opening and closing every time some one enters or leaves the premises.

OK for the Price I Paid

It is a great B&B; it has big, clean and very nice and renovated rooms. The kitchen is well equipped, breakfast is good.  It was very nice to stay there. My complaint is that when I arrived, the housekeeper did not speak English at all, and then we had to call Giuseppe (a very nice owner) in order for him to come and give us our key. If you come from a foreign country without a phone, it will be a hassle. Overall, it is a great place to stay. I recommend it!
