69 reviewsI stayed at Hotel Panorama for 11 nights in September 2015. My parents were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary so we took a family trip. The hotel is beautifully situated up on a hill with fantastic views of the valley (and the hanggliders). The halb-pension (daily breakfast and dinner) was delicious! Get ready to gain 5 lbs with 5-7 course dinners every night! The chefs keep it interesting and I loved every bite of it! There are numerous sauna's to choose from including a very cool "Panorama Sauna" with a glass wall that overlooks the valley below. The only thing that I disliked (being a modest Canadian after all) was all of the naked Europeans in the saunas. I don't care to see their jiggly bits when I'm trying to relax. Be sure to check out the weekly Falcon show. The owner of the hotel, Mr. Pircher, is a trained Falconer (?), and he teaches his guests the ins and out of falconry. Not to mention, I got to hold an owl as well. Once a week, the owners of the hotel, put on a show as they're like the real version of the von Trapp family. They all sing and dance and play instruments. Loads of fun! Given the location of this hotel in the heart of the mountains, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an adventurous, active holiday! You definitely need to be able to walk up and down hills multiple times a day.
