192 reviewsWe have just returned from a delightful and wholly enjoyable 10 day break at Villa Floresta. If you are looking for comfortable, highly affordable and clean place to stay whilst you embrace all Taromina has to offer you cannot fail with a stay at Villa Floresta. Angelo is an incredible host, he works very hard to ensure you have a comfortable stay. I do not hesitate to recommend Villa Floresta if you are looking for an authentic and rustic Sicilian experience. The building is rustic if you are looking for all modern cons then go pay the price and stay at the Four Seasons or similar! We stayed in the Garden Room (room 3) very comfortable bed, clean facilities, great welcome just remember to advise Angelo of your arrival time, he goes out of his way to make sure he can personally meet and greet each guest. What do you need to know? This is not a B&B it’s a guest house, there is a mini fridge in each room, get your own milk as there is only a communal kettle and instant tea / coffee in the reception area, long life pre packed biscuits and cakes are also supplied you are in the heart of Taromina and a few steps from cafes / bars / a 24 hr walk in outlet for drinks and food. Yes it gets busy in town and unless you leave your windows wide open and ignore your air con you should have no disturbance. There are a lot of steps upto the rooms! And the views from the terrace are amazing! This is a shared space and again up an internal step staircase. You will not find in Taromina a more affordable, well care for place to stay but as it’s an old building embrace its beauty and its unique features. I would recommend and we are already planning our next stay!
