We spent 3 nights in this quaint townhouse in the heart of Numana not even 100 meters from the old town square. The building itself has been beautifully restored and includes a lovely garden out the back with olive and palm trees.
We had the Brown Junior suite on the top floor with a balcony and view of the town hall to the left. A large bathroom and shower great water pressure and a very comfortable double bed were just some of the standouts.

Free parking is also available nearby.
Definitely, one to revisit!

Normally I never write recommendations, but I like to make an exception here. I stayed 6 days with my girlfriend Giulia in the B&B of Alessandro & Cristina in Numana. In two words: extremely impressive. The B&B is located in the picturesque and historic center where there is always a lot going on. The house is a dream place: a refined combination of old and authentic - in terms of appearance and ambiance- on the one hand and modern, convenient and fresh in terms of architecture and taste on the other hand. You can feel in everything that A&C have put their design and architecture skills into this recent renovation. Staying here will make you crave for a second home abroad: cause this is the prototype !!!
The room we had was spacious and airy, with top and silent air conditioning and refrigerator. The bathroom was very comfortable and hosting a rain shower. We overlooked the garden and the sea from our terrace: amplifying the real holiday feeling. Everything was super clean and fresh. The garden is a wonderful oasis of peace in the morning, but especially at the end of the day for a must have aperitivo.
If you are lucky enough to meet A&C themselves, you will be introduced to a super original, knowledgeable and inspiring design couple. They can and will tell you everything about the area, the place, the possibilities and culinary must sees.
Numana is a top spot, with beaches within walking distance and more poster-like ones a little more further afield, an abundance of top restaurants, with genuine boutiques selling top local produce. Make sure you also check the neighbouring town: Sirolo. Very nice and colourful twin town: just 10 minutes walk from center Numana.
For shopaholics and fashionistas there is even the opportunity to wander around in a walhalla of factory outlets that offer top notch Italian fashion brands at very reduced prices: no more than half an hour away! This may hurt financially :-)
There was quite a number of tourists, but hey: this was high season and frankly COVID also must have resulted in more Italians staycating here: probably making it a bit busier than normal. But it never felt overcrowded. I, myself, am always happy when I meet few or no fellow countrymen. Well, al in all, I came across one car with a Dutch license plate in Numana!! Maybe also as a result of COVID, but still!! So go, go, go and explore this hidden gem, as long as it is possible. But don’t tell too many people. Let’s keep this a bit amongst us. Cheers.

Beautifully restored perfect location.

Design holiday place

Based on the photo’s and price we expect another experience than we had this september.

- Complicated incheck approximately 5 km away from the rooms, which are completely closed in the afternoon and there is no alternative to check in.
- Incheck appointment after 16u  at the rooms came 45min later than we agreed
- The person who did the incheck doesn’t speak english, and didn’t know how the WIFI works
- Both rooms are not clean (dirty garbage)
- The grey room is in the basement and contains moisture fungus and smells like a wine cellar. 
- Questions asked by app will not and never be answered. 

Conclusion: nice looking rooms in the centre for a relative high price, without hospitality, service and not clean. I think for the same price there are much more better alternatives in Numana or Sirolo. Beware don’t be impressed by the nice modern pictures/website..
