The reception and bar team are all very friendly and welcoming. A very reasonable selection of spirits, served with a chat and a smile. We were made to feel very welcome from the minute we arrived. The bar snacks are freshly prepared, not haut cuisine, but after a day walking many kms around Rome, very welcome. The bar prices are very reasonable, Rome is expensive, but this hotel is not. Considering that it’s near to many important landmarks, basilica and the Colosseum, all a short 15-30 minute walk, it’s worth being out of the more expensive zones. It’s 5m from the entry to the Metro and there are buses and trams on the street outside too. You can get around Rome easily on the Metro and it’s so cheap. Tap with your card or phone, it’s so easy. When we go back, it will be the first place we look to book. It’s pleasant and clean, the transport links are its big plus.
