Villa Lavinia

We have chosen Villa Lavinia for our family holiday this year and we couldn't be happier that we did. This is a budget hotel in which the warmth and the hospitality of the people owning it exceeds any expectations. Whatever we needed it was delivered. Such an adorable and welcoming people, an example of real Italian hospitality. The food was more than great, we stayed 9 days on a full board and the menu was diverse and so tasty, those mussels that Ana was preparing are still on my mind. The wi-fi is very good in the reception and in the rooms. We had a room without balcony, it was pretty small, but the bathroom was spacious. The "cons" were small room and outdated furniture, which was totally unnoticeable for us because everything else had a strong "pros", but I am adding that as well, for the travellers searching for luxury. This is not a luxurious type of hotel, this is all about joy, hearty welcome, consideration of your personal needs, food, Italian soul, wonderful smell on the entrance of the reception when something tasty was being prepared, laughs, jokes, happiness. At the time we were there, there was a family with a certain food restrictions and the chef (the mama owner) was so considerable, either she was making meal plans to fit all guests, or she was preparing separate dishes only for this family. Many regards to Stelvio, his wonderful wife Isabela, the mom Ana, the kids, the granddad, it was our pleasure to be your guests.
